Hi I am a 41 year old obese female and have just torn my acl - complete tear . It has been 2 weeks and my Ortho says don't need immediate surgery and can wait a year even . How long before I can walk normally again ? I am not an athlete but I do like to swim and walk and dance - will I be able to do all this without surgery ?

Few hours before, she got hurt by a chair and her toe finger got injured , it is paining & is little bit swollen. I somehow used a crepe bandage and tied around her toe, and applied move beforehand. So for urgent basis kindly advice medication.

Am taking whey protein as per of my fitness routine.. My joints are getting swollen from the day I started taking whey protein.. Joints get swollen, turns red and it pains allot.. What may be the reason? And how to treat this condition? Before starting whey protein also I used to get this kind of problem.. I am believing that this condition is Gout..

I have a problem where i feel pinning sensation in my heal when i wake up from bed at morning and it goes after i walk for few steps.

My sister fell at home and had swelling in left leg. The CT scan impression says Non displaced fracture involving talus and fracture involving 2,3 and 4th metatarsal bones. What does that mean. Does this require a surgery to cure. How long does it take to become normal Please advice.

I have consulted a doctor 2.5 months ago. after checking all the reports, he said..it will heal itself. nothing to worry about. but again it hasn't healed. should i consult any podiatrist ? my job involves lot of walking and climbing stairs as well

Sharp shooting pain recurs now and then in the first metacarpophalengeal joint! However the pain subsides on taking medication Uric acid is with in normal limit Which foods to avoid to avoid this pain? Or anything to prevent recurrence of this Not taking alcohol or meat/ high protein content
