Snapping tricep and ulnar nerve subluxat
During lifting weights I bent my tricep too much against the load. As a result. There is a spreading of tricep near my elbow and the ulnar nerve is also moving out of its groove I'm also not able to achieve a full range of. Motion in my arm.  Got a NCV test done, normal function. I feel delay in reaction time in my arm also. I'm an athlete with an active lifestyle and need full functionality of my arm. What steps should I take to overcome this issue? Is surgery successful in achieving full functionality?

Hello, ulnar nerve subluxation is quite common but most of the patients do not require much treatment. Settles down on is on. Even if it persists, it does not lead to complications. Only people who have complications like severe disabling pain, weakness in fingers or loss of sensations are advised to undergo an NCV. By Range of motion in your arm, if you mean elbow? If yes, then are you involved in any overhead athletics or sports? If yes, then you might have to have a formal appointment with a sports injuries specialist or a shoulder and elbow specialist to get yourself examined.
Next Steps
Avoid sporting activitiesfor a few days and see if it settles down. If not, then please get yourself examined. Take painkillers and anti- inflammatory drugs if necessary, in the mean time

I want to ask you politely a question that whethey You by yourself has come to the conclusion that your ulnar nerve is affected or you have consulted somewhere.NCV test is not a primary test which is done on a first case scenario.i feel u Better do an x-ray to rule out any bony injury and then an MRI of Cary is normal. Only then we can reach out for a diagnosis as many other problems can also cause delay in reaction time of your arm.
Next Steps
consult directly to me through practo app for detailed discussion, history, treatment plan and discussion.
Health Tips
do x-ray and MRI if x-ray is normal

If your ulnar nerve is moving outside it's groove, it would be better to operate upon it and place it outside the groove so that it does not undergo friction. As of now, if it continues moving inside the groove, it may undergo damage in the long run. Why you are not able to achieve full range of motion in your arm needs to be examined personally.
Next Steps
Please get an appointment with an Orthopaedic surgeon for a detailed examination.
