Tooth and Mouth Problems

I have a sore in my mouth that has been there for sometime now and came to my notice just today. It doesn't hurt and I can only feel it when I move my tongue around it. I do smoke, but I've never been a heavy smoker. Only 2 or 3 cigarettes a day. And I don't chew tobacco. Should I be worried? The sore doesn't hurt. It doesn't bleed. It's just..there. What should I do?

From June I'm having gum problem,.. time of every brush I'm can see blood coming from my tooth,.. when I spit I can only see red colour in my washbasin,.. could anyone suggest me some good tooth paste ,.. and help me to rid form this problem
