I am having bp medication i.e. Telmikind trio 12.5 (Telmisartan 40mg + cilnidipine 10mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5mg) And having cholesterol medication Rosulip 10 (Rosuvastin 10) And Ciplar LA 20 for anxiety. My grandfather died due to kidney failure. I have fear that I will get CKD for using these medications. My creatinine serum is 0.92 and egfr value is 119(24 yrs). I am 110kgs and 5.9feet height. My question:- is these medications are nephrotoxics? If yes, should I need to change the medications?

Having arthritis from long and taking medications for the same. As part of that routine blood tests are being done. In current RFT serum creatinine is 0.4 and potassium is 6.5 mmol/l. Remaining all are normal in RFT. 3 months back creatinine and potassium were also normal and everytime this test was done previously they were normal. Taking only arthritis medications, nothing else. Please advise what this could be

My blood urea is 136 serum creatinine is 5.26 uric acid is 6.79 and BUN is 63.55 and hemoglobin is 7.7 . What should I do? Can it be cure without dialysis? Or dialysis is the only option? And if we start dialysis is it necessary it will never stop we have to do dialysis till the end?

My father recently had his routine usg scan and we found a 78mm cyst on his left kidney. Though it's type 1 we are still a bit worried as the previous report (done in Aug 2024) didn't mention anything about the cyst and suddenly this time we found it. Can you kindly check the previous scan and let me know if it had the cyst in the scan and the radiologist somehow missed it? I'm attaching both the new and old scan pictures for your reference. He doesn't have any discomfort and he's on medication due to the residual urine issue.

My mother 66years old was just discharged from hospital after recovering from a UTI kidney infection. Post that she was told to continue antibiotics Intravenous(Ertapenem Eczas) once a day for one week and follow up with the doctor with fresh CBC, CRP, KFT and USG KUB. My question is how soon after completing the antibiotics course should she take a blood test for a clear/accurate result? After 24 hours or can we wait and take the blood tests 2-3 days later?

Nephrologist has prescribed to take a Telma 40 , 2 times a day. Can it be taken 2 times a day. Also for sugar Dapaglyn L 10/5. Is taking Telma 40 2 times a day ok and how it will have effect on kidney

Dear Sir/Madam In my recent blood test Creatin value is 1.2 and Egfr value is 77.It's normal or need to take any treatment.My age is 43 years and I don't have BP ,sugar,Cholestrol and also don't have any symptoms like feet swelling and problem in urinating.Another blood test after 3 months required.Pls suggest.

Please tell me my report attached. Kidney size was coming normal like below- kidney sizes noted in the report (Right kidney: 9.12 x 5.22 cms, Left kidney: 8.82 x 5.23 cms) Issue- on wellness, creatine came 2.1 then went to doctor he gives below medicine for 7 days, tell to reduce weight and i reduce current weight 97.8kg to 94.3kg, but it resulted me feeling weakness and stomach pushing inside. Yesterday then I did ultrasound. Can the ultrasound report is overestimate as size of kidney are normal? Suggestion please.
