Since the past week...I have been urinating very less...I have done ultrasound twice and it is showing nothing much but partial distension but I am urinating very little...My creatinine was also 1.1 on 07/04/2024...Please guide me what can be the reason since I am drinking lots of water and then too.. I am attaching my creatinine and ultrasound report....Also I want to tell that the urge to urinate is absent...

Hi Doctor , i drink up atleast 3 litres of water everyday . My BP is also 130/85 . But i urine only 4-5 times a day that too very little volume . Volume like 100 ml per urination.

I'm diabetic since 6 years with HbA1c regularly within 6% - 7%,hypertensive since 2 years with bp fluctuating around 130/80 or 140/80.Have grade 2 fatty liver disease.No problems or symptoms of kidney disease as such.All other health parameters are ok Previously serum creatinine used to remain 1.0.Tested after 13 months from the same lab & it came 1.2 (ref range : 0.72 - 1.25) Re-tested from 2 different labs on the next day.On one it came 1.10 (ref range : 0.6 - 1.30) & on another it came 1.18 (ref range : upto 1.4) Can abrupt stopping of regular psyciatric meds for 7 months & excessive weight loss of 10 Kgs for that,prolonged use of librium 25 (chlordiazepoxide) (1 tab twice a day) since 7 months,excessive anxiety disorder with excessive stress or excessive smoking since 7 months cause a temporary elevation of serum creatinine level of 0.2 after 13 months of last test with absolutely normal blood urea,potassium,urine acr/routine/culture & usg (kub + pvru) test results ?

Does a doctor's interpretetion of serum creatinine test result depends on the respective lab's reference values ?

My Serum Creatinine level came 1.10 mg/dl (lab reference range 0.6 - 1.30) from one lab & 1.18 mg/dl (lab reference range upto 1.4) from another lab There is a variation of 0.08 mg/dl between the test results done from two different labs on the same day Need to know whether Serum Creatinine test results depends on the respective lab's references ranges & could vary from lab to lab due to difference in the reference ranges

Hi,My wife has had a single Left kidney since birth which came to know in Aug 2023 after getting Kidney infection due to travel, taking pain cular tablet, and been hospitalized for 20 days and undergone with dialysis for 5 times. The highest Creatine level went up to 8.1. During discharge it was 7.1, and after discharge she is just taking Medicines and doing monthly/by monthly blood check and consulting doctor. Present Creatine level is 3.1(Slowly getting reduce) and she feels absolutely normal like before she was. Now we want to plan our pregnancy and have Kids. Will there be any problem for her & baby if she gets pregnant. Please give us a better suggestion, provide guidance and precautions.

Hi . My mom has been diagnosed with kidney issues and her levels are elevated , She is having high creatinine , potassium and lower egfr . Kidney sonography report is normal. Can someone pls guide if she can recover.She had leg by pass surgery recently

My mother recently recovered from a kidney infection (right kidney) via uti. In the following up it was discovered she has a small stone and has started medication for it. How often should we be taking her BP readings and what is the best time to take BP readings? There has been an occasional spike in her BP but otherwise it has been sys over 110 and dys over 70 and pulse less than 90 based on home monitoring system

Hello Dr. my husband got his lab test done recently. He got albumin/creatinine ratio like 72mcg/mg. Can you please let me know if this is an alarming health issue or it is normal ? What is the treatment for this issue? Thank you.

Please prescribe ESA injection.Heamoglobin 7.3, CKD and diabetic patient with severe Arthritis, unable to walk/stand, very weak. Creatinine- 2.4, urea- 59, Takes insulin huminsulin 30/70 16 units in morning. Haemoglobin is decreasing month by month due to CKD. Please help prescribe hemoglobin injection
