I have been using escatasy for about a year and a half...I want to stop, but end up using again after a couple of weeks. Who would be the right doctor to reach out to. I cannot have my parents know about this. Would love to hear option, this is my first step towards seeking professional help. The doctor needs to be LGBT friendly

Hello Doctors, I am a 27 years old female. I started feeling anxious in the lockdown phase which started in late March 2020. I also started developing somatic symptoms like Rapid heart beat , shortness of breath , feeling of choking , lump in the throat , breathing through mouth at times , restlessness. I was only claustrophobic before i experienced any of these symptoms.I have also experienced certain stresful events in my life but I had never experienced anxiety or depression in my life. I do not have any medical condition as such(no thyroid , no sugar , no bp , no heart issues) but i am obese. I am right now consulting a psychiatrist and he is a v good doctor. He says that this is not a disorder. This was just situational and can be flushed out with medications over a period of time by reducing the dosage gradually. Just wanted to confirm if i will get better with time . I want to be happy as before.

Hi All, My Psychiatrist prescribed Nexito Plus 5 MG on 1st September for next 3 Months and now I am feeling better. Now how to stop Nexito Plus 5 MG as I have heard GAD treatment can't be stop immediately and you have to consult Doctor and use half dose for 1-2 week. Please suggest and let me know how to stop nexito plus effectively.

I have an addiction of smoking. This habit is increasing day by day.I am a chain smoker now. I want to stop that now because smoking does not solve my problems. Please suggest some nicotine gum or any other way to quit this. It is destroying myself. Please help. Thanks!
