Severe PMS
From past few months I am having a severe PMS days before my periods. I don't feel like socialising with my family and sad all the time. Little things make me angery. I hit my dog one day and try to harm myself. Because of this my in laws fight with me. And stress me out. Pls help 🙏

Hi. I understand that you are very concerned. Mood swings around periods are relatively common but if it affects your functioning and your family relationships then It needs to be evaluated. Anger and mood swings can be controlled with anger management, CBT and if willing, small dose of medications.

PMS is females is fairly common but in your case it seems it's severe and is causing some impairment and distress in psychosocial functioning ..

It seems you need an out... you need to talk to some one . You don’t need to take meds just talk and let some one listen. There is nothing wrong with you just a lot of things in your mind that you are feeling pressured
