Hi, I have been taking antidepressant for the past 5years. Then I was prescribed with Vortioxetine(Brintellex) 6months ago. Ever since I took this medication I started feel overexcited, restlessness, headache etc. I found out that Vortioxetine has a side effect of Mania. I have been taking Vortioxetine for 6 months now. Will the side effect of mania go away if I switch to any other anti depressant? Thank you.

I don't find interest in anything, live in inferiority complex, feel anxious most of the time, don't have faith on myself, I cant mix up with people, I work from home in very much struggling way since Sept 2020. I was in rehabilitation for 9 months but couldn't improve myself. Always live in trauma, fear about my life. Please suggest what should I do? I have done 2 art of living courses from home and practice those but afraid to go to office in people.

I get the symptoms of disease that I hear from past 3 month I am scared of getting heart attack I get left side pain tingling sensation I keep on checking my Bp and did 3 times ecg in 3 months I don't know whether I have heart problem or it's my anxiety I can't do any work the symptoms keep me bothered

My brother has ADD and has trouble focusing on tasks, will medicines like methylphenidate help him ?

Anyone can you help me please. Please tell me what am I going through. I am depressed. Not eating from past 2 weeks. Stopped socializing with family or frds, don't feel like working anymore, suicidal thoughts running my mind, crying and feeling tired all day. Cannot bear the sunlight, eating is hard as no appetite. Cannot think straight as want to be isolated alone. Feeling nausea all the time, cannot put my mind in anything, helpless, in room.all time after work, all negative thoughts, more migranes lasting 5 days straight, have to take painkillers daily to ease the pain, constant body pain and tiredness. Vague thoughts all over the place, cannot decide anymore, hate myself as all I can feel is empty, pain, misery. Please help as these are my symptoms. Left frnds n family

My friend she is 32 year old she is been in depression since her childhood but her parents or relative nor her friends knows about it till 24 years she was dealing with it alone and was helpless. I came in her life at the age of 24 when she and me were working in the same company, actually she and me were collage mate but never spoke and got selected in campus placement in same company there we started talking and in few days itself I felt her loneliness and her mental state from there I became her everything since I was the only friend to her who understands her I don't know how but we both were like very close , caring and loving, she hate men and she don't want to marry anyone. Marriage talk takes her to deep sadness. We took her to many Doctors but it didn't work. now too she is not ok she can't concentrate in work her personal life is not good always sad. Do we need to keep her always in medication ? What we need to do pls suggest I want to help her.

I had problem in sleeping since dec,then I consult psychiatrist and diagnosed with adhd, after taking methylphenidate in 3pm afternoon ,I can't sleep at night .along with this there is inconsistency of dosage of methylphenidate by me,as I took it randomly in a day. Now I want to know how to sleep well at night.should I take clonazepam0.5md Along with adhd medication?.

Hello Doctor, My mind always thinks of only about 1 bloody person after friendship was broken I need to go forward but always I am stuck here. I am unable to do my daily workout or any other task efficiently Could you please help me how to come out of this? Thanks, Amit
