When I was 17, I was thinking that I had some disease , consulted numerous doctors, as per one doctor suggestion ,consulted psychiatrist , having medication for depression ,anxiety from last 8 yrs .I am too sensitive, have social phobia ,inferiority .meds are not giving me solution.. suggest me what to do

Hello, I have a problem of hahing a Habit of Thinking Very much and I fell Irritated at Times as well. I was Daignosed with Cortisol and the Value was 32, and I am Being treated for that. I also want to reduce weight as well. I want to know whether Mastrbution please any role in the treatment of cortisol.

He is having Thyroid and as docs say Schizophrenia. He just hates his wife thinking she wants to kill him. Most of the times in his own world, hates his family even thinking they hate him and on his wife side only.He was admitted to "Santulan" in Ramesh park for 10 days, where medicines were injected, but d day got discharged he Left his home but somehow came back after 3 days, now saying he is ok he don't need any medicine.Not ready to visit or consult any doctor, saying he will leave them forever, if they consult any doctor. Not taking medicines even.He is quite abusive with his family specially wife.His behavior is unpredictable sometimes ok sometimes we cant guess. He tends to shiver.how to explain him.he is not ready to hear anything, and we are afraid he might go again.If he needs counselling or medication as of now. as of now injection for 1 month medicine was given while he was in hospital.

My Doctor Suggested me not to take Whey protein supplements, anxiety would be worse, I want to know that why whey protein supplement increases anxiety, Is it a myth or true, I want to take protein Supplements for daily protein requirement of my body, I searched everywhere some are saying that whey protein is good for anxiety and depression, some are saying that it could be worse my anxiety, Please suggest me Should i take whey protein supplement or not . My mother is suffering from dirt and cleanliness tendency from 14years. She don't touch anything while coming from road until she takes bath, wash clothes, clean the floor and spread some ganges water and she does the same with all the family members in our family. She don't touch the wall of the bathroom. She don't touch anything in her room. Anyone can't touch anything inside her room. If anything has touched by mistake, she would wash it. If I say anything against it or I try to make her understand that she should do these things, she starts crying and say if we don't accept it she would commit to suicide or she would leave the house. I am very frustrated. My father is angry with my mother. Neighbors laugh at us. Please suggest me what to do? How this problem will be solved?

Hello doctor from past 1 year i am in home , no job , no studies i did my graduation (regular ) and mba ( distance) i applied a job but i do not find my work field job. feeling very depress please advice me what to do in my career my life as my life is hell now . as now i am thinking alot. Is there any place for unemployed people. i feel very down now a days

I've been pulling the hair on my head for the past 5-6 years without realising it's even a disease. Recently I read about it when I was mocked by my friends for getting bald at certain areas. I forget about it when I'm busy or happy and do it all the more when I'm alone or upset or tensed about something. It goes on nonstop for hours at times resulting in thick bunch of hair on the floor and I'm unable to control it. It's like an irresistible urge to find rough hair that itches n pull it off. But along with that comes ample healthy hair. Then comes the phase of regret. I feel sorry for myself looking at older pics with beautiful hair. It's not only affecting me physically but I'm losing my confidence at work or with friends. Get easily irritated n react too often these days when slightly provoked even jokingly. I've ignored it for too long and I'm scared if I let this continue, I'll lose my sanity. Please help!

My friend is suffering from severe depression from past 2.5 yrs. He has been on many meds Bt had severe skin rashes from them. He is now on escitalopram 20 mg from past 4 months. He refuses to consult his dctr again. I want to know if there is any chance of overdose ? N will lowering dose help him conc on studies?

Recently I noticed my sleep patterns and its like I can't sleep in night like insomnia but after 4:00 am I can sleep and wakeup at 3pm its like I dnt want to sleep in day time bt if I dnt then headache and sleepiness occurs and thn I will sleep any time in day while reading while in a high volume music, travelling, watching tv, in a lecture room while conference. And it includes headache during day. Like I college days I wake up at 7am in mrng and sleep at 4am result headache and sleepiness. I alot of have dreams and used to sleep while sitting Epworth Sleepiness Scale is 12 Please tell is it a medical problem and if yes then who should I consult.
