Sir/Maam, i just wanted to ask if drinking alcohol, smoking or vaping is prohibited in a person having major depression?

I have been through extreme depression when I was 17-18years old(now23)I stuggled alot in doing many daily activities,clear thinking, confidence and studying.I was a above average student earlier but now I'm finding it tough to study in the similar manner that used to do before depression.I want to know is it normal to lose intelligence, confidence after depression?How to overcome this?

Have been suffering from severe anxiety disorders from past 20 years , I sweat a lot on face n palms go cold ...and keep forgetting things... I am diabetic for last 20 years

I have quit smoking from last 9 days now im suffering from anxiety dipresed and not sleeping properly sometime feels teary since last 3 or 4 days what i have to do and when i will recover .and sleep will come for me again

Hi Sir, I am suffering with sleep disturbance. When i sleep i got some dreams i did not sleep properly.This dreams disturbing sleep again when i sleep dreams comes.wake up iam not able to relief and active and feeling restless.Daily when i sleep dreams comes. But past 6 months iam using anti depression tablets ,not daily when i depression i take tablets(Amazeo 50mg and mirtaz 7.5mg). I unable to sleep happy mood. Please tell what is the problem.

Hello, I am confused with my bf. These days he started behaving wierdly with me. Yesterday he told me that his life is only revovle around job, gym, and me that's it. He wants to spend some time with other people also. He told me to give him a little change in his daily routine. Normally we both go to work then after 8 hours we meet with each other and then gym. I think he is bored of me. What should I have to do? Please help me.

Wanted to get into higher studies but seems like I can't. Dropped out of my post grad school and now I am even dull in online courses. It drains me and I retain nearly nothing in head.

I took my sister to a psychiatrist forcefully as she is dealing with severe metal issue.Doctor has prescribed Nexito 5mg for 10 days & 10mg for next 10 days.she has already tried commiting suicide using amlopine 10mg  now am worried to give her whole set of tablets,I fear she will overdose herself.please tell me if the overdose of these tablets are fatal or is it safe to give them to her as she is very adamant and won't let me give her the daily dosage keeping the medicine with me.she is also thinking to use the prescription to get more of these tablets.please help.

Hi, I'm 25, male. I feel my brain remains in confusion always as I usually ask the person to repeat what they just said. I also find difficulty in speaking and making judgements out of what someone is asking me. I think MRI scan should help catch the issue in my brain. Hello doctor ,i am a 23 year old boy but i most of my time in my life i feel and act completely as a 5 year old i am always stubborn i feel like playing with toys,i get angry and suddenly happy and then suddenly sad and that to very extreemly.when i ask my mom or dad to buy something and if they reject me i feel like jumping and crying untill they agree just like a 5 year old kid does i dont think a 23 year old should be behaving like this.my memory is too weak,i cannot concentrate,whats wrong
