Hello practo user I can understand your concerns regarding your health . Sleep usually gets disturbed when we have thoughts usually negative in nature which are continuous and can also be causing us stress . You can try and follow these for a better sleep hygiene which will include -- try and avoid using laptop/ phone / TV prior to sleeping , avoid taking your work files or problems to bed , try and indulge in relaxing activities which can be taking a warm shower at night , having a calming tea or warm milk , try and have a comfortable environment , avoid eating a heavy meal for dinner , limit your caffeine intake . Try and talk to a close family member or friend and engage in multiple activities throughout the day to keep yourself distracted . Try and practice deep breathing and meditation to clear your thoughts. It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for an in-depth understanding and formulation of a treatment plan through which you can learn more healthy and positive coping strategies and skills. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.

Hello, If there is problem related to only sleep then you can try sleep hygiene. This include- Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends. Use bed only for sleeping do not read book or use phone on bed. Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature. Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom. Avoid large meals, caffeine, smoking and alcohol before bedtime. Go for walk or exercise. If the problem persists consult for treatment of underlying cause for insomnia. Medication are last resort and they are prescribed for a small period of time if required.
Next Steps
Consult nearby psychiatric clinic or you can consult me.
