Is Amlodipine /CCBs are not given in people with Aortic dilatation. I am taking Amlodipine+Bisoprolol combination . Ascending Aorta is 4.9 cms one year back. Concor AM 5 was given by cardiologist after Echo test one year back. While visiting a physician for bp check told me to take a second opinion regarding current medication. Sir, My heart function is 20-25% after a Heart attack in March 2018. and a stent was planted. I am Gujarati Male Age 72 in Mumbai. Till date, I was on - Cardace 2.5 - Prolomet XL 12.5 - Ecospirin-AV 75. and was feeling ok. My 2D echo pictures shows a table with EF (teich) at 41.51% and %FS at 19.74% while report shows Ejaction fraction at 60%. Please suggest which one is correct and is it normal 2d echo report??
