My ldl (154) and triclycerin (223) both high . doctor suggested cholstrol statin 10 mg tablet. After doing diet and excercise can i able to stop medication or difficult to stop?

I got my covishield vaccine yesterday i am not having any side effect till now but one of my known doctors has suggested to take ecosprin for 10 days to avoid clotting due to covishield. I am not on any medication now. Should take ecosprin or not. (My cholesterol is boderline high after covid)
