General Surgery

High PT level of 19.3. Is it an area of concern and does it get corrected with age? Can surgery be performed with this level.

I m 66 years with multiple gallstones.. Need to go for gallbladdery removal surgery this month.. But I had Covid last year in December.. My lungs are weak.. But no breathing issues.. My DLCO is moderately impaired but my Spirometry nd 6 minute walk test is normal.. I also have severe sleep apnea.. Will my surgery be risky? What are the chances of my recovery?

I had c section in June 2021. Please advise when can I start going to gym to begin work out. Are there any restrictions on doing any particular exercise Thanks in advance Thanks

Hello Sir's and Madam Two week ago my laser fistula surgery is done and now I am facing some discharge.my doctor is suggested Analspray I asked them to provide any Cream to get my healing as soon as  but he said not required can someone suggest me which Cream I needs to apply to get my healing cure as early as .and also I wanted to know how long I have to face discharge. Hi , I have hitaus hernia which was diagnosed one year ago. My problem is I have mild pain everyday on left side of stomach .Can hitaus hernia be fixed without Nissan fundiplication as I don't have any gerd symptoms.

I am experiencing constipation for last 1 month..although i pass stools daily but they are hard and dry..for past 2 weeks i have also experienced few drops of blood after i pass hard stools..i am trying to relieve constipation by dietary changes and laxatives but as soon as i stop taking laxative my stools again turn dry and hard and there is bleeding..what else to be done to relieve constipation so that no medicines are required..how long do i need to take laxatives, i am worried about stools in blood, what to do so there is no bleeding on passing stools

Hi my daughter was having stomach pain 4 days back. We went to apollo there pdiatric surgeon said she got appendicitis. I did fresh sonography today. Please suggest whether surgery required. Apollo doctor said its required.

My mother in law is having unbearable pain in chest and back, local doctor and test conducted in which gall bladder stone is detected.

My mother age 52 done ultrasound. It shows a small defect noted at umbilicus measuring 2cms with herniation of omentum and grade 1 fatty liver. Does she need surgery for hernia? What are the risks after surgery? She has no pain. What caused it. She had four c section deliveries in her 20's
