Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I m infecfed by flu when the season is changing , so I want to know how can I increase my immuniy . Tell me there are any specific protein or something that I should take and secondly very important question of mine is when I get affected by cold , sore throat , cough , I go to the doctor and he refers medicines like amoxicillin , azithral and many other medicines that didn't help . Now I m taking mucinex 600 mg for cough and cold it suits me , so I want to know the best antibiotic that you may refer to me for cold , cough and sore throat .

I am having problem of sticky cough in throat from last 1 yr, as soon i have cold , cough get removed from my throat and when cold is not there again cough get stick to my throat. Can u please suggest me medicine for the same.
