I have mate with an accident..leg injured done x ray all is ok..there is swlling of thighs.. unable to move leg and cannot put it on floor swelling area badelly pains...able to move all fingers...is it due to swelling I am unable to move my leg

My mom is suffering with Osteoarthritis its genetic in my family.We met two doctors regarding this one of them said that it can be cured with medications only and provided some anti-inflammatory,pain reducing and cartilage strengthening medicines namely Nyros Max and Sazo 500.The other doctor recommended an injection of Synvisc one for a temporary relief of one year or so and suggested a knee replacement surgery should be carried out. Please suggest me whose medications should follow.
