I met with an accident in 4 years back and due to compound fracture in my left leg 15-20 cm above ankle there is plate and 4 screws, i am planning for its removal. Plate is of 32 cms long from knee to ankle. What is the precautionary measure to be taken before being operated for removal. What are the measures to be kept in mind after being operated? How many days rest will be required??

Dear Doctor About 4 yrs i had first instance of the pain with swelling . reddish. Doctors guessed it may be a gout. Xray didn't reveal any. Uric acid tests gave border line. By 15 days swelling went down but lost the flexibility in that last joint of big toe right leg. Occasional pain now and then but last week went up when I wore tight shoes. Did uric acid its at 6.8 . then doc gave zerodol. Now swelling went down. Now I am here at practo to find a permanent solution to gain flexibility and address the issue holistically. Kindly help on how to address this.

Suddenly painstarted in my right leg joints. A month back. After getting up from bathroom and after getting up from sleeping gives great pain.

My knees have pain. When I sit I can't standing up as good bcz the pain becomes startling. And when I walking about 10 minutes they becomes pain.

The pain had started 2 years ago, after doing crunches without warming up. It had almost gone but since last 3 week it started again. I attend coaching and have to sit hours for studying. Please tell what to do

Whenever I bend my or do anything cracking sounds come from my knees. Now days I'm exercising more so I can hear more sounds from my joints like, Knees, ankles, arms and from back etc.

Changes of osteoarthritis. Reduction of medial joint space. Pain in the knee. What exercises should be done?
