Severe pinching back pain
Hello Doctors, Iam suffering from severe pinching kind of back pain, where anesthesia was given to me during C-section delivery in Nov 2016, it's almost 2 n half years.. currently iam working, I travel 4 hours (up n down to office) n sit in office for 9.5 hours, a total of 13.5 hours I will be keep sitting. Most of the times I will have back pain, few times I get severe pain in anesthesia given place. My colleague are scaring me saying, it's all because of sitting for huge hours daily in travelling n in seat at office.. Does travelling creates back pain? Is sitting for long hours like this, will cause pinching back pain.. please suggest any medicines?

Yes painkillers might help to tide over the crisis but you need to change your lifestyle. Prolonged sitting causes more back pain than standing. Alter your hours of work or take naps/walking in between for 30 mnts every 2 to 3 Hours. Meet a orthopaedician and follow his advice whether you need x-ray or MRI scan depending on clinical findings

I am afraid your colleagues are right, bad posture and prolonged sitting can cause back pain. It is unlikely that spinal anesthesia given during c section is the cause. Unfortunately, tablets can't be prescribed without a detailed examination.  Consult an orthopedic surgeon near by
