L4 l5 disc bulge left leg small fingers dumbness a little pain in left leg taken ayurvedic treatment but no result

Dear Sir, My mother is experiencing severe pain behind her thighs since the last 4 days. We have tried applying pain balm (Volini, Iodex) and few other oils as well. However, the try went in vain. Please could you kindly advise which doctor should be consulted as we are skeptical whether to consult a Physiotherapist or an Orthopedic. I get severe lower back pain. There's nothing fixed about when my back pains. Sometimes it pains regularly for a week or a month. Sometimes it doesn't pain for 2-3 months

My brother got hurt in hand while playing badminton. He went to play badminton in the afternoon.And when he returned swelling was not much.
