My mother has a hip replaced The Exeter cemented femoral hip (Stryker) 14 years know and was going well until past 3 months. The surgeon (from UK relocated to india Bangalore and did a great job and the surgery was 100% text book ideal outcome.) Current Scenario - She is complaining of sever pain and finds it painful. X-rays - show a normal result. No findings. Or dislocation. She seems to be good with Tremadol (calpol T) but gets back to pain once subsided. Challenge- She is constantly screaming and crying due to pain (constant cries ) Question- does anyone here help to address if Stryker (Exeter) has a limitation of life span ? What is the next step as surgeon rules out any hip dislocation just ask her to go on pain killer. Her pain seems SEVERE and constantly screaming ! She never ever has been so bad. She was always functional and doing her own cooking and all actions until 90 days . But now finds it unbearable. Any direction/advice greatly appreciated can consult u

I want to know if this scan shows any sign of fracture as my husband is having sharp pain in his wrist after he fell down

Respected sir/madam, My mom ,P.N.Mani MRI report reads " l4 l5 posterior annular tear . diffuse disc bulge causing moderate spinal canal stenosis and bilateral inferior neural foraminal stenosis" and her nerve conduction report shows Demyelination and lumbar radiculopathy more on right side and decreased nerve conduction of sural nerve,tibial nerve and common peroneal nerve on right side and decreased sural nerve conduction on left side .She could not walk without support especially outside and there is no grip when she walks on  footwear .Could you please help her with medications/steroids or further treatment guidance? She is non diabetic,but has high BP, bronchitic asthma, distended bladder and sensitive stomach.

I have experienced swelling in only my right ankle almost every evening when i come back from work. The swelling is noticeable and it is only in my right ankle. I have been observing this for a week now. What could be the reasons? FYI : I haven't gotten hurt no sprain and no injury. There is no pain at all.

My friend is having swelling in left leg (below knee) and foot from past 1 week with no pain and urinating in a gap of 1-2 hour and there is slight burning feeling while urination. Swelling is also happening in right leg but it's very less. Gaining weight suddenly.

My right foot twisted violently–outerfoot rolled downwards, there was a 'chit' noise clearly hearable, I was in good pain and shouted F-word couple of times while still walking to analyse the severity. However, just after few steps when my sense got on track I was instantly unable to bear weight on my right foot, it got really swelled up onto the metatarsal region and around that specifically above. I want a second opinion as doctors in my town are not so positively reputed with their treatment, I am concerned and indeed in a need of second opinion. X-ray images are attached with this post.

Hi, I have cervical spondylosis with stiff neck and neck and shoulder irritation. Also I have mild shoulder dislocation. (Falttening along posterior superior humreal head concern for Hill Sachs lesion. Mild tendinosis along suparsinatus and infraspinatua tendons. Mild edema along muscle belly of teres minor.) I am 5,7 height and weight 55 (underweight). I want to put up weight and increase strength. Can I hit gym? What should I avoid doing? Attached lumbar and cervical findings for your reference. Your inputs will be appreciated.

Sir I had the revision acl reconstruction with Prtellar tendon graft from my un-injured knee 6 weeks back (no LET and meniscus repair) done due to tunnels mal position in first surgery (1st surgery done 2 years back). 1.  I started weight bearing walking from 3 days  I'm getting sharp pain at anterior medial corner with click and loud pop up while starts flexing and remove weight from operated knee while walking.( Clicks observed in every step). 2. There is a laxity in my knee with negative pivot shift. Is there any serious issue???
