My Mom has been suffering from low back pain since more than 15 years. On year 2016 she did a surgery in New delhi but still the whole pain wasn't gone. Now, her problem is getting a bit worse and she is feeling chronic pain on her low back. Doctors here in my country Afghanistan has suggested Fusion of Joints. Considering her previous surgery , is there any non surgical treatment? If not, is Fusion of Joints a suitable treatment for her? Is she a candidate for Spinal Arthroplasty Surgery?. Based on my research , fusion of joints completely immobilizes the fused spines and the stress transfers to joints above and below which accelerates the degeneration of discs at this age. Do you recommend Disc replacement?

This is for my mother, aged 66 years L3-4: Broad based disc bulge with resultant anterior thecal sac compression. No neural foramina stenosis or nerve root impingement. L4-5: Diffuse disc bulge with mild left paracentral protrusion noted causing compression of left L5 traversing and L4 exiting nerve root. Due to the covid anti inflammatory drugs, my father developed side effects such as digestion issues, muscle pains and cramps at the back side of his body. Doctor gave us Trabest 37.5mg tablet for muscle pains.. does it have any additional side effects or will it really work to clear out cramps and pains..?? As of now almost 75% pains are reduced. However, Iam not sure whether the pains appear again after completing the entire dosage of Trabest. Please advise..!!
