Excruciating pain in the heels
I have, since 1 month been experiencing excruciating pain in my heels whenever I stand/walk. I shifted to Crocs doctor sole thinking it might be due to uncomfortable footwear but it's not helping. I got my uric acid tested as well and it's normal. What could this be? I don't feel any pain when I sit or lie down but only when I stand or walk.

Use a footwear that is tall from behind, the heel lift. Pain is due to tight calf muscles which are getting stretched on walking. Check if you have flat feet or overpronation.

The pain is most likely due to a condition called plantar fascitis, where a ligament gets inflamed and contracted. You can get good relief by changing your footwear and making sure you wear them through out the day, plantar fascia stretching exercises can be seen online, try dipping feet in hot water every day for 10 mts. If pain is still not releived visit your nearest orthopedic so that he may give a steroid injection at the site of its insertion.
