I have impacted wisdom tooth left bottom side its paining since 4-5 days. I'm rinsing my mouth twice or thrice daily with saline water and applying Hexigel ointment there. The pain reduces for few hours but not getting permanent releif. The left cheek area where the impacted wisdom tooth is present has also become slightly swollen hence while chewing food the cheek bite is giving more pain each time I eat anything. I request doctors here to please guide when will the tooth erupt completely? Last year wisdom tooth on right side pained me in same fashion.. it took nearly 1 year to fully erupt.. can i consume antibiotic O2 medicine for 5 days twice daily? Will that help reduce the pain? What to do if I cannot visit a dentist? please suggest.. Regards...

Hi doctor, I had pain in RCT hence doctor prescribed for re-rct. Recently I under gone for re Rct. Here I am attaching 2 xray. One xray is first RCT with crown and 2nd one is before filling the re Rct. My question is,  in 2nd xray is re-rct was done properly or do they have any problem because I have slightly pain in re Rct (4th tooth). Does it take long time to heal the re-rct. I am bit worried. Please suggest. Thanks.

I have a cut inside my mouth cheek side after the cure of cut there is a spot of cut in red with white outline from last 3 months and become swelling in my cheek. I have a cavity in my 7 number tooth and RCT is to be done. But, there's a wisdom tooth (8th number) behind it locked slightly into it, as you can see in the x-ray. So there's no use in doing crowning because it will break in the future if the wisdom tooth grows further. Also, the inner wall of the cavity tooth is broken so crowning is not possible on three walls, I guess. I don't want to remove any tooth surgically. I will be going to the dentist but could someone please tell me a solution. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I injured the back of my gum (circled area) while brushing my teeth 3 days ago. I think I may have accidentally brushed too aggressively and injured it. I have been brushing the area lightly and using betadine mouthwash at night to prevent any infection. I also time to time use smyle gel on it. It only hurt a bit the first day, and does not hurt anymore. It is just a bit irritated and slightly inflamed, as a result it is occasionally interfering a bit with my bite. For context, I have had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. The area in question (lower right side), I had it taken out in mid-2019, and had stitches there as a cut was made. Any other care instructions for the same or to speed up healing? Would an anti-inflammatory like Combiflam/brufen help? Please advice. Thank you!
