How does jaw move during treatment of tmj disorder with splint? Can splint move my jaw back more than its normal position? Please help.

Sir ,Madam I'm experiencing Severe Pain at the right side .previously one of my teeth got pipper a hole like symptoms .then I consulted a doctor and he made some treatment to that Particular teeth and finally arranged a ceramic cap to that teeth. This happened 120 days ago. And from 2 days I'm experiencing severe pain at the place where he arranged a cap to that teeth which o can't take it. Please suggest me solution to this?
