Hi doctors I engulfed small piece of smooth plastic a day ago but I am not having any symptoms I am worried my doctor said by itself it will come out dont worry ,what should I do please suggest?

I was suffering from GERD last month.i have taken rablet d and sucrehem as prescribed by my physician.i have started exercise and made diet restriction. because I was active earlier now m at home only so during this covid I got this problem. Now the issue looks in control but I have a phobia to eat food I get scared thinking at age if 32 I got this issue. acidity I usually have from long time I get when I eat spicy. Acid refulx sounds scary. I have few questions which can help me to come out of the phobia Is this permanent issue? Will the les come back to normal as it was before? Can I completely get rid of this after lifestyle changes?
