Hi sir/madam, My 3 month infant having cough and sneeze past 2 weeks... I went hospital and doctor prescribed Syp.Novomox 0.5ml/tds,syp.welminic ls(levosalbutamol,ambroxol hydrochloride, Guaiphenesin)0.5ml/tds for 5days... I'm administered 5days... But till now my infant having cough, sneezing,noisy breath, mild sound or vibration heard while touching her chest... What is the next step... I'm worried about her ... Due to lockdown here no doctors available... She is active, take breastfeed adequately... Please tell me what can I do now and when requires immediate treatment... Kindly do the needful... Thank u...

My son has dry cough issue every month since 5 yrs . Was on asthalin and beudocort inhaler but still was no use evry cold gave him bad dry cough , har to give nebuluzation. Now been to ent he said geade 2 adenoids.. last year had given avamys nose spray for one month no improvement . Now again inhaler changed to duolin and seroflo..  qnd given allegra nasal spray will this help him ? I dunno how to help.him he has constantbrunning nose since 2 month some time thick white amd some times yellow . Whats permanent solution ?

Hello doctors, our son is 3.5 yrs old and is attending nursery happily. Almost every month he gets fever cough and cold regularly . We have been visiting his paediatric for regular medication which ranges from Crocin to asthalin nebulisers . Is it normal for toddlers to catch cough and cold / fever regularly ? What tests should we do in order to root cause the issues ? How to know if it's the weather or some allergy or the food he's eating? He's otherwise a healthy and happy child. Could someone help us know how to go about this issue ? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I got this sore throat 2-3 weeks ago which got me cold and fever too. To avoid I had okacet cold and hifenac p for a day or two and it didn't help much. Then after few days I visited a doctor who prescribed hifenac p, becosules z and azeee 250 which help for the time being.     At the same time I was travelling to Delhi n Himachal during my medicine course and got the sore throat again and at that time I jave taken medicine from a pharmacist who gave polyclav 625 cheston total and nicip plus.     And once I'm back in Mumbai, I had this cough started again with difficulty in breathing. Cough is mostly dry and I get cold also mostly in the morning. I visited the doctor again and he advised to have okacet cold for 5-6 days and cobadex czs. Please advise.

I have been facing problem relating Cough and weezing sound on breathing. It remains fairly calm during day but is worse after I wake up and also disturb my sleep. I took AZITHROMYCIN for 5 days but it hardly created any difference. Following which I took cipla duolin for 5 days thrice a day. But the problem still persist. But it is not as bad now, it is getting better. But still I got my tests done. In which all reports were normal including chest x-ray ,AFB and urine test. Only in heamarology EOSINOPHIL level was 9.1 a bit higher than normal range. What should I do ? What is the reason behind it ? Just for reference ( 2 weeks back I used a deodorant after which a sudden cough attack started following which the problem started.)

Since last two days I a suffering from cough and fever with itchy and painful throat, running nose, and I looked at my tongue where it was filled with very small white dots. Day before yesterday I vomited may be because of throat irritation. I have a mild body and head ache, and during coughing I am experiencing chest pain. Last night my temperature as observed was 102°F and since then I have consumed P650 paracetamol to ease my fever and pain. Now the temperature is around 100°F. Just for the record I do have thirst and I am eating easy to digest soup, steamed rice and (Dal) lentils. I must inform that many people from this region is suffering from Dengue also.

My mother has suffered from viral fever 4 weeks before and after that dry cough got started. She is diabetic and hyperthyroid patient as well. Yesterday we have done CBC with ESR and everything is normal. Hemoglobin - 12.7 TLC - 6400 /cumm Erythrocyte Sed Rate - 16 mm/last hr P.C.V/Haematocrit - 41.1% RBC - 4.99 million/cmm Platelet Count - 3.68 lacs/cmm The report is normal and everything is under limit but the cough is still there. Please let us know how to rid of or what's the cause?

My son, aged 7months, was attacked by cough & cold 2-3 weeks ago. I consulted a Paediatrician locally (Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal). But suddenly on 01/03/2017 night, my son started to have severe breathing problem. He was taken to hospital & admitted there for 2 nights. The doctor there told that the cough was accumulated for a long time causing life threat to my son. Now, he is under supervision of another local Paediatrician of the Govt. hospital and being treated with oxygen, nebulizer. He is now a little bit improved. Please help for better treatment of my son.

The cold cough fever started when she was 4yrs old. After every 15 20 days she used to get this problem then 7-10 medicines goes on then one week she is ok and then again same problems starts. Now i started giving her homeopathic medicines for cold cough fever problem and her condition is in control but now rashes started from last one week on whole body red bumpy itchy and especially in the morning she wakes up with full body rashes and swelling on eyes and face. After applying coconut oil and boroline antiseptic cream rashes go away during day time and then again next day morning same thing occurs. Before doctors told me that she is suffering from allergic bronchitis. Kindly help me to know what is it?

From last 1 week I'm having cough(no cold). From last 3 days three or four times a day I get cough in way that stops my breath and it brings tears to my eyes, voice gets faded. Later a burp comes and throat gets better then everything gets normal. But those few seconds are hell for me. Consulted a physician, he gave me some antibiotics, then I tried steam, honey ginger, drank hot water but still problem is there. I smoke twice a day. My diet is healthy as I work out 6 days a week in gym. What should I do ?
