Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I am having pain in the upper ribs mainly in the centre on the sternum and on the side of ribs. There is also pain in the backbone. The chest pain first started with right side but now it has spread to the entire chest area. It has started about 1 month back. Somedays it is less some days it is more. The pain is felt more when I sleep directly under the ceiling fan or table fan or A.C. I am sweating excessively for the last fewdays. I did the ECG, Chest X-Ray, CBC, Echocardiography. The reports of all the above reports are OK. After that I did the Lipid profile. There it was found that My Total Cholestrol Level was high at 286, Triglycerides - 194, HDL - 58, LDL - 189.2, VLDL - 38.8. Now my question is does high Cholestrol lead to chest pain ? Should I take any medicines for lowering cholestrol ? Will this releive my chest pain ? Please help me with your suggestions. Thanking you in advance.

I feel discomfort in my penile region whenever I experience G - force (For example, taking off, roller coasters, etc.) I heard someone say that it may be due to an over sensitive corpora cavernosa? What do you think, and what can you do about it to remedy the situation? Thank you!!!

Hi I had itchiness and discomfort in the tip of penis due to which i did the following tests on 10th may. Urine test: Urine Routine & Microscopy Std panel test package: Chlamydia Trachomatis, IgG RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination HIV Combo (Antigen And Antibody) Test Herpes Simplex Virus 1 & 2, IgM Herpes Simplex Virus 1 & 2, IgG All tests came normal and now the itch has subsided on its own. I need a prescription for the tests dated May 10.

Male , 37 age, 5 '11 hieght,87 kg's weight,married,no children, cholesterol tablet using rosavas 10mg , BP tablet Tazloc beta 25 mg , yesterday BP 154/97, Past i am used bipolar medicine, present i am not using any tablet, Now due to family issues arguments getting high headache, 1) how to reduce BP and weight 2) how to mind cool and calm 3)how to reduce chest pain & discomfort

My father age is 60 years old, he did not have bp issue but had some sort of sugar flactuation. FBS- 136 mg/dL max. and PPBS - 140 mg/dL max. But he had not taken any medications. Today he had a good snack of peanuts and sugar less tea. Now at 8.00 p.m he says he is feeling discomfortness i.e he is feeling some sort of weakness/ increase in appetite suddenly. When checked with oxymeter his spo2 was 98% and HR was 90-95 bpm. What can be the reason for that?.

Suddenly my heart starts beating very fast and i feel anxious in my stomach when i sleep at night. My heart beats so fast and my breathing also is irregular i find it difficult to breath normally. I also experience chest pain on left side of the chest.I experience heart pounding and after some time there will be pain and discomfort in left side of my chest. Because of this i wake up daily around 1am and cannot sleep till 4am. I'm experiencing this almost everyday. I took raciper 40 tablet thinking it is beacuse of gas but it is of no use. My heart continues to beat very fast and i experience shortness of breath even after that Note: i do not have any symptoms of corona

15 days before my father underwent angioplasty and got placed one stent in his artery. From last 7-8 days he has been very weak and lost his appetite. He also had fever at irregular interval ranging 100-101° F. We gave him paracetamol and azithral. Now from last 1.5 days he doesn't have fever but still have very weakness and his mouth become very dry with white coloured tongue,discomfort in swallowing, some obstruction in throat with little cough. Because of his weakness I couldn't take him to the cardiologist who had operated him. Is this common problems after angioplasty, is this matter of worry ? Please advise what should I do?

Hi I did endoscopy 2 times, my doctor told I am having GERD problem, suggested a course of few tablets, but i did not find solution. The problems iam facing is: 1.Upper stomach discomfort feels like am carrying stomach. 2. Burps never comes even if i eat full stomach. 3. If i talk i will get tieredness. 4. Unable to relax by taking deep breath..i can take deep breath, my chest expands fully  but stomach musles dont give relief. 5. Sometimes i also feels throat tightness I searched in internet and found FUNDOPLICATION is there for treating GERD. So...plz plz plz suggest me...do i need that surgery or can i get cure by tablets. Am very scared.

I was facing slight ear pain, fullness and ringing. I also had some facial heaviness. My ENT (video consultation) gave me a 10 day course of fastclav, cnf active and oxyspray. I also have sinus blockage. The symptoms have improved. Pain is hardly there. However for sometime now, my ears are itchy and I feel like a lump in my throat that comes and goes. I also hear a crackling sound when I swallow my saliva. I experience some heaviness around my right ear sometimes and some discomfort around and in the ear on moving my jaw to the right. I still hear the ringing sometimes. I can't visit an ENT. Please advise.
