Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I had my last period from 15th Feb to the end of Feb, which was also associated with heavy bleeding, severe pain & clots. After that, I did not get my periods for March, April,May. I started spotting from 4th Jun to 12th Jun, and since 13th June till ~24th June) I have been having continuous bleeding with clots. The bleeding varies but I am currently using around 3–4 pads per day Clots are sometimes large: coin-sized). I had abdominal pain b4 the bleeding started, but currently there is no significant pain but there is a lot of weakness & discomfort. My cycles are irregular. Dr suggest USG, bt completed a full course of Pause MF (started on 19th Jun & finished all 10 tab), bt bleeding & clots are still continuing As I'm out of town for work in remote area, 1. Can pelvic USG be done while I'm still bleeding 2. Which USG to do if yes 3. Wat are the causes of this prolonged bleeding after missing period for few months 4. Are there Any urgent warning signs for which I shud seek immd care?

I feel chest pain,discomfort,sometimes  palpitition type of feeling for several months, especially in the left chest, occasionally on the right. It happens even at rest& while i get tensed or hear high bass sound. Bp 105-112/ 65-75, pulse rate around 57 bpm at rest and increased on activity. Ecg normal sinus rhythm, echo normal with EF= 61%, TMT Positive but CT CAG was normal with zero calcium score in 2023, moreover normal coronary angiogram report with slow flow.( 21/12/2024). I have reports of Hs-crp 0.28, ldl 55, hdl 57, tg 40, apoA1 143, apoB 47, hbA1c 5.6 done june '26. Normal halter monitoring for 48 hrs 6 months back. My questions : Is it a serious heart related issue? If yes,  how severe could it be? Do i need another coronary angiogram again? What is the solution? I am a non-smoker and non alcoholic.

Patient: Female, 24 years old. Reason for consultation: The patient's menstrual period started on 11 June at midnight and ended on 14 June. Symptoms began on the morning of 15 June, one day after the period ended. Current symptoms: Burning sensation while urinating. Frequent urge to urinate, with many small trips to the toilet and only small amounts of urine each time. Mild pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen/pelvic area. General weakness and body aches. Sensation that the area where urine comes out (urethral opening) feels "open" or "something coming outside Symptoms that are NOT present: No fever (temperature is normal). No unusual vaginal discharge. No bad smell. No vaginal bleeding. No visible lump or tissue coming out of the vagina. Sexual history: Sexual intercourse occurred during the menstrual period. Condoms were used during some encounters. There was also intercourse without a condom, but ejaculation occurred outside the body.

Dear Sir/Madam I was suffering form hyperacidity and digestion problem chest pain since 8 years, I had done all the test like endoscopy blood test on 2020 December and report says grade A errosive gastritis, but one month antacid tablet no improvement. Since three years water stool shape less but daily one time and light anus discharge. 2024 done fistula operation also. On 2025 December done colonoscOPY and report says mild pan colitis but only watery stool daily one time no other symptoms after doctor prescription three months only ppi ibs tablet  and anixity tablet but no improvement  and mucus  some time pus also discharge again sigmoidoscopy done report says mild to moderate rectosigmoiditis. Doctor prescribed 5 asa 800 mg  3 times a day, steroids9 mg, antacid, ibs and anxiety tablet, since one months 15 days taking same but still mucus increase on stool , stomach discomforts some time. I am taking only curd rice and butter milk lst one and half month. Please advise

Hello Doctors I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) around 10 years ago. Treatment history • Initially treated with SSRIs and Venlafaxine for ~3 years → mood improved but developed severe sexual side effects (ED and PME) • Later tried Bupropion XL → developed intense suicidal thoughts within 1 week, so stopped • Then used Citalopram and Escitalopram intermittently • For the last ~4 years, I have been on Desvenlafaxine 50 mg + Mirtazapine 7.5 mg, later reduced mirtazapine to 3.75 mg Current medications: • Desvenlafaxine 50 mg daily (recently advised to increase to 100 mg) • Mirtazapine 3.75 mg at night (cannot reduce further due to insomnia) • Supplements: magnesium glycinate, fish oil, vitamin D3, vitamin B12 (regular) Past trials: • Vortioxetine – no noticeable benefit or side effects • Mucuna pruriens – caused discomfort, so disc

My Ecg is normal sinus rhythm,echo normal(ef65%), but tmt was positve  but my invasive coronary angiogram report is  normal arteries with slow dye clearance, microvascular angina just one year ago(2024 december,dated 21/12/24).calcium score was 0 in 2023 ct cag test report ( november, 2023)too, hs crp value is 0.48,, HDL 64, ldl 54, tg 42, cpk mb 19( ref was <25), creatinine 0.72, bp remains low most of the time between 100-107 /65-75, pulse rate normally 54- 62 bpm. I feel discomfort and tightness  like feeling & pain on the left chest & upper chest while walking  moreover feel palpitation type of sensations when i wake up in the morning sometime. I walk 30 minutes every day. Non smoker, non alchoholic, non diabetic. Is it a heart related problem? Do i need to go for another angiogram? Please help doctor, i am very anxious. Dear Doctor, I'm 35 years old female. Had ectopic pregnancy. My beta hcg was low 600. So, expectant management for a week and went with left tube removal though tube didn't rupture. I opted for it as it was anxious to wait and watch. Now. I'm 10 days post surgery. I didn't have any pain or issues at the incision sight. It is nicely healed. Had on and off discomfort at pelvic. No fever or bleeding 1. Yesterday noon i had dal nice with prawns. Evening i had periods like cramping at lower abdomen and lower back pain. Pain level was 5/10. Managed to sleep. Morning pain completely gone. Is it healing or gas pain or something to be concerned. 2. My LMP was oct 18. Had surgery on Dec 4. When can i expect my next periods. 3. I feel pelvic pain/pressure while passing gas, stools or urine. Is it normal?I asked my gynec a few days after surgery about scan and b-hcg. She said it is not needed. When can i go for next scan to know everything went well on my surgery. Please guide me. I am helpless.

Symptoms started 2–3 days after sex, scrotal swelling comes and goes, severe bloating in lower abdomen, urinary symptoms, back pain, anal discomfort, symptoms worsen after ejaculation additionally I am having swelling in inner groins. Earlier doxycycline helped slightly but symptoms returned. Tests conducted- 1. Urine culture multiple times, shows 8-10 epithelial cells 2. Semen culture- shows nothing 3.Expressed prostate test- shows no growth 4.STI panel- Nothing positive 5.Urine fungal stain-No visible organism 6.Urine fungal culture- waiting for the report 7.USG of abdomen- Thickening of the urinary bladder wall 8. In 2021 due to functional dyspepsia, I took some medicine acogut, pan d , muccain gel after taking these medicines I feel severe knee joints, heel pain , finger of birth legs , symmetrical , immediately consulted rhumetolgoist, Low back pain RA ANTI CCP ANA ENA , hlab27 , triple phase bone scan, mri si joint , hip , Cpk anti ttg , lots of tests have been done , even consulted 5-6 rhumetolgoists, I was continuously following rhumetolgoists till 2024 , all of them denied the possibility of AS , 3 -4 times x ray has done , no abnormalities found , suddenly my all pain disappear in April 2024 , completely recovered, rhumetolgoist earlier diagnose it as drug induced arthalagia, Now again this month , I again took some ppi , now again I am feeling low back pain In last 5 year I only feels pain no swelling redness , no pain if press , no elevated esr CRP I want to know what I do , should I repeat the above test , nsaid not so effective, I do not feel discomfort at night,

Hello doctors, I'm a 31-year-old male. Two weeks ago, I had a small lump at the 12 o'clock position, just above the anal opening (between anus and penis). It was painful to touch but no fever or sitting discomfort. A general surgeon advised an MRI Fistulogram, which showed a tiny 5.6 mm perianal abscess, no fistula, no anal canal communication, and no tract formation. He vaguely said, “whatever the report, continue antibiotics” for 5 days. After completing the course, the pain is gone, the lump is smaller, and when I pressed it, a small hard white pimple-like substance came out. Still the surgeon insists on laser surgery without any post-report consultation or explanation only said he’ll process cashless approval. My questions: 1. Is surgery really required now? 2. Can this heal fully on its own? 3. Will it become a fistula later? 4.Are sitz baths  required Mri report attached for your reference
