Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I am the same guy who posted a long query asking about IC I had frequent urination for more than a month which was able to be suppressed when I take flavoxate. Agter my last prescribed course of flavoxate(flavocip) my frequent urination came under control somehow(its been the 3rd day m being without medicine and pretty much controlling the urination but there's a little feel of urine in my urethra). Now m pretty worried about IC. I knw i think a lot bt cant help it until i get an answer :(. Here m attaching 2 pictures where i can feel a dull ache when i press that location. I want to know, is the bladder located there? And can this be IC or something else? I feel slight discomfort in my left testes too. Very slight..please someone help mee.. I was suffering from frequent urination since last month, when i took flavoxate it went away and later returned back after 2-3 days. But recently (last saturday onwards). I took only flavocip tablets twice a day for 5 days as prescribed by the doc. This Wednesday it was over. And m holding on pretty good after its over. I am trying to retrain my bladder by holding it for longer time intervals.. life 4-5-6 hrs etc.. but sometimes i feel a slight discomfort when m coughing or sometimes m walking(very very very light pain 1/20 i would say) or say it as a spasm that i can feel. I have added pictures of the location where it happens, just down to the left side of my stomach as pointed in the photo. If i press that position when m standing i dnt hav ne pain but while i m sleeping with my knees up and press that i feel a slight pain.. is the urinary bladder located there? I guess not. Its like when i press that location and pushh it upwards i feel a slight achy sensation. Please ans d qstns

Hi Doctor, Greetings! I have excessive gastic problem which increases after every meal.Also by late evening I have to pass bowel again even after proper bowel movement in the morning. A cup(or 2) of tea or hot coffee if taken during the day acts as a catalyst for this but surprisingly a mug full of milk taken at night before sleep (occasionally) doesn't cause any discomfort. Now the frequency of this is increasing with every passing day and other than avoiding tea and coffee I am also cutting down on my meal size to reduce any symptoms during office hours which makes me hurgry. I had similar issue last year and was recommended Rifagut,Cyra-D & VSL #3 for 3 weeks during which I also had an emergency kidney stones operation and these symptoms vanished post that so I discontinued those medicines. Currently if I have to take Pudin Hara liquid very frequently in the morning for temporary relief before going to office.please suggest.thank you!

Sir, I am male 5fit 10 inch,  81 kg. Since last 5 years I am taking maintenance dosage injection of b12 once in a 3 months. My b12 level is 350 as per current report. Actually I was talking eldervit 12 but due to unavailability in my current city I consult MD Medicine who ask me to take Nurokind plus injection but after taking this since last 9 months 3 inj.. I am feeling lot of stomach gas discomfort. My all executive blood reports & USG abdomen is normal. I don't have any constipation or diarrhea problem. Kindly advise whether I can take neurobion inj or suggest good reputed company inj which can solve my stomach gas problem  and due to this I mentally also gets upset many times during day. I always remained worried due to gas & fart 6-8 times in a day. Or Kindly suggest good course of treatment to treat b12, anxiety & gas farting issue

I have mild pain at chest,arm & neck on left side for last 1yr. Found CAD@25-50% in CAG, Oesophageal candidiasis & cervical spondylitis with min bulge @c4-5 &c5-6. Treatment for these problems taken in this 1yr period. Now TMT & 2D Echo are negative but pain at said areas continuing. Daily evening after walking, getting dehydration/gastic/reflux with mild pain at said locations with discomfort and joints pain. Motion normal but more interstenal gas in nights.20days back I stopped smoking after 25yrs of habit. I take alcohol twice in a month. Pain occurs more when lay down on bed. Suspecting disceases like cancer. Please suggest needful.

I am a female of 18 yrs. My height is 154cm(5 feet) and my weight is 45 kgs.I have been experiencing pressure below my belly button( Not pain just a lot of pressure). Also when I urinate, the urine does not evacuate completely and I feel that there is some urine still left. Also I have this constant urge to feel my bladder again and again. It is causing heavy discomfort for me. I have got my ultrasound done and it shows that I have increased vascularity in myometrium and a bulky uterus. My urine culture shows no infection. I am feeling this pressure since 1 month now. I had been doing ab exercises on my own and therefore feel that I have hurt myself in the process. But I am not sure. This problem increases when I sleep at night. I am taking Tracfree medicines and also trying to drink plenty of water. My doctor wanted to start some kind of process or internal scanning but she said that it is performed only when one is sexually active which I am not. Is it something serious?

I have csom. Doctor gave me antiobiotic that i have to finish in 1 week. I finished it and went back to the doctor to get checked some mord. No discharge occured during the 1 week period. Then he told me to go home coz it will heal on its own, but to come back if the discharge persists within 2 weeks. 2 weeks laters, no discharge nor discomfort.. Slight hearing loss as usual but no discharge so i didnt come back. But now that im entering the 3rd week, my ear start draining, its not as bad as it used to be but.. A discharge nonetheless. Hmmm and a small bump on my earlobe. Also had a ringing in my ear but it went away asap. Should i go checked up? coz idk, it could be just nothing..coz a few days before i took a shower and was careless, i guess water got into the affected ear(im supposed to keep it dry)...then the discharge happened. Is it nothing or should i go to the doc.. I wnna make sure its something to worry abt bcs its a hassel to commute and I don't wanna do it for nothing.

Fell, injured arm 2 days ago. X-ray of Elbow negative. Symtoms: Initially swelling/ tenderness in area left of elbow. Slight discomfort in wrist. Today, onset of stiffness/tenderness on outside of R shoulder along with some aching. Have pretty good range of motion without much pain. (If not doing what I am about to describe.) What I'm concerned with now (and was not aware when I sawMD) is the following symptom:Since day one, I experienced pain when twisting, pushing or pulling but only when gripping or holding on to something or if my hand comes into contact with something. For example twisting my arm while holding onto treadmill bar or baby stroller in front of me, or pushing or pulling drawer or door open or shut. The above mentioned pain is sharp located in a wide area below elbow and goes away when I stop.Should I follow up on this or observe for a while? Right now I have my arm in sling to remind not to favor the arm. 67 yo F 5'6, good health and I work out. Thank you.

I discontinued my Depo Provera when my shot was due Dec. 16th. March 24th I had a lot of discomfort, and went to urgent care with suspected UTI. UTI came back negative, after ultrasound, doctors confirmed I was likely close to ovulating and should expect first period in about 2 weeks. April 14th I had a very light pink, then very light brown discharge when I wiped after urinating, but no period. Since then I have had pelvic pressure/ache, nausea, dizziness, headache consistently. I do have 1 child. The discharge and other symptoms were consistent with my last pregnancy, but tests so far have come back negative. My husband and I are not preventing pregnancy. Is this a hormonal imbalance that needs treatment? Consistently dry heaving at work has become very bothersome and symptoms don't seem to be lessening. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you.

I had a breakup with my long time (5 years) girl friend. We broke up 1.5 years back and didn't talk for whole of 1 year. This was sort of a routine for us and I thought we can get back whenever I want. When we finally started to talk again, I came to know she got a job in Gurgaon and just to be with her, I too got a job in Delhi. After coming to delhi I came to know that she had already moved on when we broke up 1.5 years back and I couldn't accept it. I go to gurgaon everyday after work just to get to see her & listen to her voice. She doesn't like this & she doesn't want to get back with me. I have been having discomfort in sleeping, I feel afraid of being alone, all day I cannot think about anything else but her & the good & bad memories we have. This sort of eats me from inside and everyday this is getting worse. I can't concentrate on my job or lead a proper carefree and healthy life. We finally agreed that we'll be friends & that has provided me with some comfort.
