My father suffered a stroke a month ago. It was mild and silent but the whole fiasco took a heavy toll on us as he was very ill. He is doing better now but ever since he has been doing better I am having many stress related symptoms. Initially I was feeling tightness in temples and jaws. When it subsided I faced mild tightness in chest and lightheaded ness. All these symptoms were making me more worried that I was having a stroke too and it scared me further. But as I distracted myself these symptoms got better. After a couple weeks and an outing for a weekend I felt better and all problems went away. But now that I have come back and stared normal work, even the slightest stress is triggering palpitation and chest tightness. Even if someone utters the word stroke, i feel lightheaded, i cant concentrate and there is discomfort in my chest. I feel like I'm developing some sort of anxiety, is that it. How to get better?

What conditions can mimick heart attack or coronary disease? I suffer from typical angina symptoms- chest discomfort pressure radiating to left arm, jaw, teeth, upper abdomen etc ( no sweating/ nausea) it's both exertional as well at rest.. In 2021 have got 2 tmt, 3 echo, 1 stress echo- all perfect! Trip to ER 8-9 times wid ecg always perfect! Apart from cardio had CT chest, MRi spine, xray left shoulder, vitamin, thyroid tests, endoscopy, abdomen doppler- all fine .. tried gastric meds, anxiety meds and beta blockers, physiotherapy but nothing reduces my pain... today My doctor says theres nothin more he can do for me... I do have anxiety but no it's not that bad to cause me this much pain which can't even let me walk for 2 minutes. Can u plz help this distressed young patient?

Hi doctor, I have been facing throat issue for more than 2 years now. I used to cough so much, follow by spitting of some fluid out of my mouth all the time. (I don't know whether it's phlegm or mucus or something else). For the issue, I used allopathy but the doctors couldn't able to diagnose the issue appropriately. Instead, put me on some drug pills which corrupted my health in a way. Later, I started using Homeopathy. It suppressed the issue to an extent. I'm 30-40% cured. There's no so much coughing like before. But the major problem I'm facing here's whenever I eat something (breakfast, lunch, dinner), any food, I have to clear my throat and spit a white fluid from my mouth followed by salavia. I have been doing this for the last two and half years. I'm using homeo pills to help me stop spitting this thing. I don't have any discomfort in my chest. I'm breathing fine too. Please help me doctor. What should I do? Should I go for Ayurvedic treatment? Will this issue get cured?

Since 3 months I started noticing changes in my urine stream, I feel my urine output has reduced does not matching with intake, for example if I drink 3 glasses of water I hardly urinate 1 glass after 2 hours of drinking the water and there will be slight swelling at ankle join earlier I suppose to urinate 10 times a day and frequently urinate almost every 1 hour,I m an occasional drinker same happens when I take alcohol even after drinking full beer I hardly urinate and my ankle joint swells a little apart from this no discomfort nor a pain in any place my appetite and stool.is normal, I consulted doctor and almost done each and everytest,  creatinine, LFT, ECG, Echo is normal and lipid profile is at higher side and vitamin.D and Iron deficiency doctor has put me on medication and BP is slightly high, apart from this no issues, doctor might be suspecting BP would be the cause for this situation, kindly help with your inputs and any suggestions on this condition

Today is day 34 after my stapled hemorrhoidopexy procedure along with laser. I had a prolapsed hemorrhoid for 5 years which used to come out only during defecation and needed to be manually pushed in. The prolapse outside the anus had grown to around 3 c.m in diameter. The surgeon had excised the hemorrhoid and has applied laser on the anal mucosa which is visible in the attached picture. I can still feel a distinct lump there. The surgeon, at the 2 week follow up said that it would shrink in a month. But I have stopped believing this. Can an online video consultation with another surgeon help or should I physically visit another surgeon who is an expert in this area? The pain has reduced mostly but due to the lump size there is a lot of discomfort. I need an opinion from the attached picture. Can I ever return back to sports and the gym? Please help. Thanks in advance. P.S: is it possible that the stapler size was inadequate in excising the hemorrhoid fully?

Post his Bypass Surgery in Feb 2020, we have been noticing that his blood pressure remains on the higher side. It is usually 160-170/60-70. He used to be on Asomex before surgery. But after surgery, the same was stopped. Instead he was prescribed EMBETA XR 50 twice a day and LOSAR 12.5 twice a day. In recent times, BP has been overing in the range of 180-195/70-90. The cardiac surgeon noticed that and has changed Losar 12.5 and prescribed TELMA 40 twice a day instead. A couple of days last week, BP even touched 210. That day he was feeling pain near the eyes too. Infact, he says that he does feel odd now a days when he moves his shoulder. Today it is 199 though there is no apparent discomfort. We are worried as to why BP is that high inspite of two regular medicines. Kindly advise.

Hello, from 2-3 months I am having stomach problems daily. I feel abdomen pain on the upper side (either on left or right)& feel like gas or undigested food trapped which is causing irritation and discomfort. My bowels are also disturbed, sometimes I feel constipated, other days I have to go twice or thrice, stool being hard only. In the night specifically, I feel a lot of gas trapped & abdomen pain which worsens if I am not able to sleep. Also felt dizzy at 2-3 occasions. Have watery belching. I am also getting very anxious these days. Even if it is a small thing, I tend to overthink alot due to which I am unable to sleep properly. And sometimes my entire body starts vibrating like when I am on an important call or even doing pranayama or if I stay without food for 4-5 hours. I got a full abdomen ultrasound which only revealed small kidney stone. Can someone please help with my problemWhat it looks like? If any home remedies that can help. This is really impacting my day to day life.

I have been diagnosed with OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder).. Doctor suggested me to take "Flunil 20mg & benfomet" to intake   1) what is OCD & why it comes??I have severe repetitive thoughts & over thinking nature since few months...sometimes thinking might go for hours and days It made me so discomfort and irritated,I have some responsibilities to take,but (over thinking & Unnecessary thoughts) coming & distract me so much   2)doctor suggested me to intake "flunil 20mg & benfomet, They told me to use flunil @ afternoon & benfomet @ night after dinner  Incase if I get drowsy during day times after intake flunil,they suggested me to take night along with benfomet,so I am taking two tablets at night time "Is it necessary to take both tablets without changing pattern daily"? Does it cause any problem if I change the time pattern from morning session to night session? please help me to get rid off those all problems which I mentioned above Please give me your valuable answers

The city scan report of my uncle (80) has the following diagnosis report: 1. Possible subacute necrotizing pancreatitis with multiple peripancreatic walled off necrosis 2. Cholelithiasis 3. Bilateral renal cortical cysts, simple hepatic cysts 4. Mildly enlarged prostate The patient otherwise appeared to be healthy, was active, does not drink, does not smoke and did not have any episode of severe discomfort earlier. Just a week ago he felt weak and a little stomach ache to begin with, which later deteriorated to a point that we had to admit him in a hospital. The doctor who is in charge of his case is letting us know that a major surgery is required but he left the decision to the family members considering his age and current condition. Kindly suggest what should we do.
