Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

It's been 7-8 days I went to general physician since I was suffering from left rib pain . He has given me some injection for pain relief. I was feeling slight pain at right hip side at injection site . But from yesterday I can feel injection site is swollen and feeling pain when I touch. It's hard as well .I am not able to sleep at right side also when it's touched it's paining. Yesterday night got mild fever 99.9 . Today as well some weakness I am feeling. What could be the issue ? Why injection site is swollen after a week ?

I feel muscle pain in my stomach near the rib cage and sometimes stomach pain while I'm sleeping and wake up with then slowly relieve from pain and i always feel my stomach bloated after eating and also shortness of breath. These problems started after I gained over weight after the Vats surgery of my lungs due to pleural effusion. And when I eat I feel a little bit of swelling in my fingers also. It happens sometimes only. I was also feeling chest muscle pain but when I reduced smoking to 1 ciggerate in 2-3 days now I don't feel pain in my chest.

Dear Sir, Recently in july beginning i have done Usg of my abdomen. It is saying  Fatty Liver.(no grade). My  Sgot is 42 and sgpt is 84. Total Bilirubin is 0.6 Hb1Ac is 4.5 Triglyceride is 347 Tsh is 5.9 I have mild pain at certain times in the upper right abdomen under ribs. Also i have itching of whole body specially legs and it increases after having shower. Sometimes i can see some parallel  lines popping out of skin. Please suggest. Is it worrisome. Thanks. I am 20 weeks 4 days pregnant. I had level 2 scan 3 days back , everything is fine. I had urine routine test also. The report is also fine. Ph is 6.5. My concern is that after every 4-5 days i have back cramps which i feel like coming to sides and in front also sometimes. And sometimes i have left rib pain while lying on left side. This is happening from last 4 weeks. Earlier my gynac suggested to have Pan-D but it did not work. The pain comes every 4-5 days. It is like cramp which comes and go for a day then 4-5 days will be normal. Somewhat like period cramp. Unable to explain. Unable to find the pattern. I dont know what stretch pain is but it did not feel like stretch pain. I only eat home cooked non spicy food.. Are these pain / cramps normal?

Liver : Normal size, Shape A.P. Diameter 11.6 cm. (Normal maximum 13cm) Parenchymal shows increased fibrotic changes. Intra hepatic billary channels are not dilated Portal vein 7.4 mm (Normal maximum 13mm . And my SGPT ALT -57 SGOT ast- 26 . I have just pain...upper right abdominal just below rib cage...is it gas or liver problem plz suggested me??

Hi doctors I had my CT angio three months back which came back normal with 0 calcium score and tmt echo six months back which also came normal but I'm having chest pain in centre left shoulder sometimes under rib cage and I'm having lightheadedness sometimes if I try to sleep at night I'm having some feeling in left side of chest I'm only 22 and because of this I'm very scared that i might get a heart attack at any time I'm afraid of being alone do I have to repeat these tests is there any validity for these tests or is there a chance of heart attack with all these tests being normal please help me.

Good evening sir/madam, am 22 weeks pregnant ,this is my first pregnancy my bp is low and sugar is normal sometimes my stomach is extremely extremely tight i have to breathe slowly and I can't yawn completely there's a pain in stomach whenever i yawn after 12weeks it started right now also am feeling so tight and pain in right abdomen area just below rib cage and can't sleep be up of extreme tightness and getting frequent burps but am afraid does it cause any complications to me or baby? I am suffering with grave hyperthyroid and atrial fibrillation for 25 months. I got full body checkup on 18 November 2022 and  alkaline phosphate was way above normal at 288, other parameters in lever report were fine.  I gets pain in ribs. Also my vitamin d was low at 20.5. I again got full body checkup in January and alkaline phosphate further increased to 313 and other parameters in liver report are again normal. Vitamin D has now become normal My question is- Does high alkaline phosphate indicate any problem in liver. Do i need to get ultrasound for liver ? Kindly answer both questions?

Hello and namaste. I am 33 years old, don't have any health condition except thyroid (which is under control). From last 2-3 days I have been feeling moderate to sometimes high pain in the left chest area, under the breast. The pain is constant but sometimes increases with a pinching sensation. When I am pressing my left side rib bones, even then I feel pain. I took pantac thinking that it might be due to acid influx or gastric problem. But I got only 20 % relief. Do you think its a matter of concern? This is the first time I am having chest pain. Thanks in advance.

From past 1year I am suffering from Costochondritis. In Chest sternum left and right cartilage came little front and tenderness in left rib. Getting pain while walking, running and lifting and sometimes in movement also pain really worse. In rain and cold climate pain will come automatically which is worst moment for me. After the pain started 2months Palpation also started chest will be shaking and in thorat beating fast  ECG, ECO D, Treadmill test and Holter test everything is normal but problem is not solved checked with cardiologist 4-5 person, Ortho and rhemutalogist also but problem not solved please help me from this from past 1year my life is hell
