I have been experiencing occasional pain on the right side, below the ribs, for about 3 months. The pain stopped completely for some time but started occurring occasionally again. I had an ultrasound, which showed mild hepatomegaly (mildly enlarged liver). I took two bottles of Adlive, after which the pain improved, but it later returned occasionally. The pain is now less than before. Please advise what could be the possible cause and whether I need any further tests. Recently had a FibroScan. My report shows CAP 310 dB/m, liver stiffness 4.8 kPa, IQR/Median 22%, and 10 valid measurements. What do these results mean? Do I have fatty liver, and if so, what grade is it? Is 4.8 kPa normal, or does it indicate any liver fibrosis? Do I need any further tests or treatment, and when should I repeat the FibroScan?”

Doctor, I have been experiencing the following problems for quite some time: - I have excessive gas formation in my stomach. - I frequently experience stomach cramps and spasms. - After eating, my stomach feels very full and under pressure. - Sometimes, in the upper abdominal area (near the ribs), it feels as though something is pressing or gnawing from the inside. - Even slight pressure on any part of my body makes it feel as if that area is being pressed hard. - I have to use the washroom frequently. - I feel hungry very often; if I delay eating, I start to tremble, but the trembling stops after I eat. These issues are affecting my daily life. Please examine me thoroughly to determine the possible cause and, if necessary, prescribe the required medicines and tests.

Hello Doctor, About 3 months ago, I injured my left chest/rib area . To reduce the pain, I applied a very cold spray directly to the skin. After a few days, it caused a cold burn. The damaged skin peeled off over the following weeks, and the wound healed. Now, after about 3 months, I have a flat brown scar on my left chest. It is not painful, not itchy, and not raised, but the pigmentation is still visible and is bothering me cosmetically. I have attached a photo for your reference. Could you please prescribe the most effective treatment to reduce or remove this scar and pigmentation? If appropriate, kindly advise whether I would benefit from silicone scar gel, hydroquinone/depigmenting cream, tretinoin, or any other medication or procedure. Thank you.

My newborn baby age is 4 weeks his birth weight is 2.9 kgs current weight is 3.7 kgs height 49 com he is suffering from nose block different breathing ribs showing when breathing and tight tummy gassy from the past few days when I visit doctor suggested nebulizer and cold and cough syrup and antibiotics syrups after using nebulizer for every 6 hours from the past few days he is some how recovering but not completely also vomiting little every every feed from last 3 days so I went to senior pediatric doc he prescribed phena kid syrup, tummy soft drops, econorm sachets, zincovit and deksel syrups are these good for my newborn and also how to know if my breastmilk is sufficient or not for my baby.

I had gallbladder laparoscopic surgery on 19th september 2025. After that I was having pain on mid rib and bilirubin( total, direct and indirect) and all liver enzymes were increased. Indirect was more than direct. Dr suspected retained stone but on mrcp it was clear and bilirubin started going down and liver enzymes also. Since last one month was taking udbest 300, bilirubin was normal but yesterday repeat test indirect bilirubin is high again. Also I am on strict oil free , less spicy home food diet. Having2-3 litres of water everyday with coconut water, buttermilk. reports are attached. Please suggest.

I am 29 Y male having burping, chest tightness, breathlessness, and neck pain for 3 weeks. After 4 days i took ecg. It was normal and only sinus tachycardia. I was taking pantaprazole twice a day but burping didnt go. After 6 days i stopped pantaprazole. Bp was normal always. Started taking voltapraz 20 for past 6 days as per doctor's advice. Burping is reduced a bit. But still after sleeping and waking chest tightnes and pain in left side and right. That too when i touch my ribs i feel more. And if i eat more i get breathlessness. I have vitamin d deficiency 9.7 . And when I climb more stairs I feel like my heart is pounding more. Is it normal? Or should I need to take any more tests?

My mother had some infection in private area, she saw a doctor, got better, infection was gone. But those medicines reacted in a way that gave her rash and swelling on all of her body. So we saw a dermatologist, which also gave medicine and she got better. Since then she is having problems related to gas , acidity, even if she doest eat and eat bare minimum, she still have bloated stomach and burps. And she complained about having pain in left ribs. Today morning she woke up but her whole body was numb , and had hard time getting up and then she threw up. We are at our village for few days and there is no good doctor, so Can anyone help ?? Like Instant relief if there any ?? Or is this something very serious, any idea ??

I'm handicapped on my Right Hand, and with both the legs. It's 40% disability on my body. Will my child have the same thing happened It should be happen I know. Because It's our family genetics. My Father (Little issue but not visible type), Middle uncle (Also have the same problem what I have) and small uncle (No problem) Father has two sons Me and Small brother (brother has No problem) Middle uncle has two sons Big one is no problem and small one is little in his rib cage No problem anywhere else. Small uncle He has one daughter she don't have any problem. Please Anyone tell me. I'm in very fear that If I got married My son or daughter might get the same problem what i have. How to stop this completely Can Anyone tell me.?

I do not have pelvic endometriosis. I have regular periods with normal groin and lower abdomen pain. Periods last for 4 days. Recently i have noticed that only during periods i have right upper abdominal rib pain , pain behind right breast, chest, lungs, sternum, back , neck, arm. I have no breathing difficulty or any cough, just the pain during period. It goes away after periods are over and comes back again 5 days before period. Can it be Thoracic endometriosis?? My chest Xray is nromal. Pelvic MRI is normal

My mother is a diabetic and has hypothyroidism. Also suffers the condition of cervical spondylitis. Prescribed medications for all of the above conditions are being taken and we have also started physiotherapy after a gap of 15 days. In these 15 days she had an episode of loose motion mucus formation in stool. After some dietary changes like including fruits and fibers and eliminating milk motion became normal. Since last 7,8 days she has pain and stiffness in abdomen and lumbar region. The pain is acute and spreads towards the rib area on both sides and chest..making it difficult to even breathe while lying down. She is not able to either lie down or walk or sit. Pain in the back spreads from shoulder to waist. Kindly help.
