Attention seeking behavior
I feel I have attention seeking behavior. I cannot enjoy being alone.. My mood changes if I stay alone in my room without seeing anybody.. I validate myself from others... I need constant feeling of likeness from others to stay happy.. This make me difficult to focus on my studies do procrastination. How can i enjoy my own company and do things that need to be done. I'm feeling terrible with such a behavior that I'm unable to change it.. If I resist I become more restless feeling lonely.

Sleep Issues
Actually, I feels sleepy but when I close my eyes than my mind keeps on saying that I will not be able to sleep and will remain awake even though I close my eyes I am not an insomniac patient as I feels sleepy but when I close my eyes my mind says that I will not be able to catch my sleep and I am the only person who will remain awake in this world.(Although this thoughts are meaningless but then also my mind use to shutter this while I close my eyes for sleep).Please help me here only by giving some valuable advice as I stay alone and I don't have that much of money to visit a councellor personally face to face.Please help, its a humble request as because I am not being able to sleep from many days

Quitting Smoking
My father is 55 year old who had liver transplant at age of 44. He was an alcoholic before transplantation which lead to liver cirrhosis. He used to smoke too back then. Post transplant he quitted both drinking and smoking. But, now he started smoking again from 5-6 years. He is coughing so much lately. I am unable to convince him to quit smoking. How do I convince him to quit?

I was in love with girl but I was 18 then so was just friends. Hypothyroidism and borderline diabetic
I am borderline diabetic and have hypothyroidism. I also have borderline cholesterol. How often do I need to do the necessary tests to keep these under control? I am following a strict low carb high protein diet and am also trying to minimize dairy consumption. I also do intermittent fasting and hence, do not eat breakfast. My next meal after dinner, is only next day's lunch. I do have a lot of caffeine, though I am careful to have coffee an hour or so after my thyroid medication. I try to eat green vegetables and chicken/fish for dinner and try to minimize carbs for dinner and have a good portion of red rice and/or kodo or barnyard millets for lunch. My sleep cycle is erratic though since I work in an IT company and watching the computer for more than 8 hours and at times, working at night, deprives me of the necessary sleep that's needed for my body. In essence, how do I control thyroid, cholesterol and diabetes and sleep?
