Difference In Serum Creatinine Levels
My Serum Creatinine level came 1.10 mg/dl (lab reference range 0.6 - 1.30) from one lab & 1.18 mg/dl (lab reference range upto 1.4) from another lab
There is a variation of 0.08 mg/dl between the test results done from two different labs on the same day
Need to know whether Serum Creatinine test results depends on the respective lab's references ranges & could vary from lab to lab due to difference in the reference ranges

CKD Stage 3B
My father recently received a diagnosis of stage 3B Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Notably, his creatinine levels were normal just 1.5 years ago, despite having high blood glucose levels at the time. Although his glucose levels have been well-managed with medication since then, his serum creatinine has risen to 1.9, with a corresponding GFR of 38. Is it possible to stabilize his creatinine levels and halt further progression of the disease?

Need help regarding telma 20
I have CKD and was stable with a creatinine level of 2.2, urine creatinine around 19, and 1+ proteinuria for the past three years. My nephrologist prescribed Telma 20 to manage proteinuria, though I have no high blood pressure or diabetes. After starting Telma 20, my creatinine rose from 2.2 to 2.6 and remained there for three months. When the dose was doubled, it increased to 2.76, after which the doctor stopped Telma. Despite this, my creatinine rose further to 2.8, 2.9, and recently to 3.04. Additionally, my protein-creatinine ratio fluctuates, with protein rising to 90 and the ratio increasing to 4.7. My proteinuria now alternates between 1+ and 2+. I also stopped Septran (taken twice weekly) after my creatinine reached 2.8. I currently take Nodosis (three times daily), Cretlow (twice daily), Bun Proforte (twice daily), Docxis Q10, and Dapadoc on alternate days. Despite regular nephrology consultations, I am concerned about my CKD progression and seek further guidance.

Medicine Composition for nephrotoxic
I am having bp medication i.e.
Telmikind trio 12.5
(Telmisartan 40mg + cilnidipine 10mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5mg)
And having cholesterol medication
Rosulip 10
(Rosuvastin 10)
And Ciplar LA 20 for anxiety.
My grandfather died due to kidney failure. I have fear that I will get CKD for using these medications. My creatinine serum is 0.92 and egfr value is 119(24 yrs). I am 110kgs and 5.9feet height.
My question:- is these medications are nephrotoxics? If yes, should I need to change the medications?

Remaining all are normal in RFT. 3 months back creatinine and potassium were also normal and everytime this test was done previously they were normal. Taking only arthritis medications, nothing else. Please advise what this could be
