Any Side Effects on Kidney?
Hi Doctor,
I am writing this query on behalf of my mother who recently found out to as type 2 diabetic. Currently her medication is under progress from an endocrinologist. She has a history of clinical Dipression 15-20 years ago. She has been taking below two medicines prescribed by her doctor on daily basis till this date. Not consulted her psychiatrist for more than a decade now. Without these tablets she can't sleep and she get headache without them.
ELPRAM C 5mg
TOLAZ D T 10mg
Right now she is also consuming below medicines for controlling her diabetes as prescribed by endocrinologist.
Tablet Gemer V2
Arachitol Nano Bottle 60K IU Vitamin D3 Oral Solution (5ml each)
Crestor 10mg Tablet

Hi,
Medications mentioned doesn’t have direct side effect except for Arachitol bottle which should not be used regularly as there may be a risk of Vitamin D excess.
Next Steps
It is not advisable to continue same medications without taking doctor advise for long time and Elpram has dependency issue. So should not be used without prescription.

Advised to consult a psychiatrist personally and do creatinine and Urine album: creatinine ratio as she is a long term diabetes to rule out kidney issues
