Appendectomy done in 2016.in that USG abdomen it has been mentioned that right kidney is small but doctor had'nt told us.after 3 yrs i.e in 2019 he had problem of bed wetting regularly.so,we have done check up.there, doctor suggested to do USG abdomen,in that it shown right kidney totally shrunken and poor cortical function.and dmsa also done-right kidney 4% left 96% function.no antibiotics suggested then and they said leave it..it doesn't cause any problems.back then in 2023 he had been slightly having pain in right reneal angle and fever sometimes.in 2024 again we consulted doctor with dmsa,mcug ...in mcug grade4 reflux for right kidney.. left is normal...now too he is having pain continuously...my doctor suggested simple laproscopic nephrectomy...is this a good option? Will this be any problem and cause left kidney reflux? Is reflux can be given?? Will it cause any pain after nephrectomy??

Hi everyone, need help for my brother's condition. He's 7 yo , few days back he had swelling on his face and feet. We consulted some local doctors but they said it must be allergy or something. But problem persisted, today we did a test and Doctor said he has Nephrotic Syndrome. Also one of the relative who's also a doctor said he might need dialysis. We concerned and confused. Can you suggest good hospital in Pune for this condition. Also how serious this might be ? Any help will be appropriated. Thank you.

Persistent mild proteinuria  up and down <500mg   for 1 year with normal eGFR All test normal RBC HFCS 3-4

My Urinary ACR level was 5.77 mg/g (Normal <30 mg/gm) on 18/05/2025 i.e just before starting Empagliflozin Previously it was 2.84 mg/g on 4/4/2025 Serum Creatinine,Potassium,Urea & USG were all within normal limits on 18/05/2025 i.e just before starting Empagliflozin Taken Empagliflozin 10 mg once a day for 20 days for blood sugar control which has been discontinued since 6 days Noticing foamy & bubbly urine since the last 2 weeks What might be the cause of such  sudden  foamy & bubbly urine as less than a month ago my Urinary ACR level (5.77 mg/g) & other renal parameters were well within normal limits ? Could it be due to Empagliflozin ?

Sir,numbness or "sun ho gana" area of 6 by 2 inches in left leg only near the "medial malleolus"of leg  for the last 1 week. No injury, no insect bits, no swelling and No pain ,as i am fit, no bp,sugar .Walk every day around 5 km .I have good movement of legs at all angles and walk properly and can run also but now numbness when i feel when i touch it only .Attached photo numbness inside area marked with green marker.  Please guide any temporary treatment or It is a sign of a major problem .

During dialysis interval fluid gain is not more than 500ml. Can dialysis frequency be reduced? Please advise

Present my creatinine is 1.3 (lab upper limit is 1.2). This creatinine behaviour was observed from 2023. Current DTPA RENOGRAM gfr is 84. No protein leak in urine. Usg kidneys structure normal but right kidney little small 8.5. I have hypothyroidism since 10yrs. Using thyronorm 112mcg. No BP, no diabetic. Surprisingly I have seen my past 10yrs means 2015 reports where my creatinine was 1.4. But I don't this at that time. After 2015 l, I took more non veg meat, more chicken biriyanis, atleast monthly twice alcohol upto 2023. 2023 only got to know about creatinine. My doubt is 1) whether I have CKD or not? 2) why my creatinine not increased from 2015 onwards with the worst bad habits.

I had severe pain on the left side of my stomach about six months ago. I have also  consulted a doctor and till now i haven't experienced any pain or anything. I have attached the tests below. I'm just looking what to do next.
