So my mom's been going through maniac episodes i have already consulted a doctor for this and Oleanz and Clonazepam medication was given she had it for a week and then stopped after it went but now before 5 days she got it back and she's having the same medication and since she hasn't been moving her body much she's having muscle stiffness and the maniac episodes haven't got any better can i give her Pacitane? and what should i do?

Hi dear doctors, I have been on medicine for more than a year. I am a type 1 diabetic for 12 years. My weight has also increased to 100kgs. My medicines are Mirtaz 7.5, Nexito 20, Lamitor od 100, Sizodon LS (risperidone)  And Oxetol 150. I feel that I am having alot of medicines that is why asking for a second opinion. The psychiatrist described MAD but I feel they have given medicines on the basis of symptoms and they don't know what exactly I am facing. Even after taking mirtaz at 8:30 pm, I wake up at night and my sleep is in pieces (this has happened 2 times), My memory is also deteriorating. When I wake up at night even after taking medicines, I take extra mirtazapine and Lorazepam. I feel  Please advice.

I'm a 31 year old girl, I always see myself depressed and stressed, overthinking a lot, can do much work, avoid being in a crowded place, I feel anxious before any meeting or in crowds, I'm so depressed and I can't understand what to do actually.

I'm a student and don't have a lot of money . And I'm keeping the issues about my mental health a secret from parents. So my question is how can a student get cheap prescription and medicines for mental disorders , to be precise mainly for depression and a bit of insomnia . I have been prescribed medicine before but I have moved away to a metero city and it's soo much costly .

Hello doc , I am a female 36 years old. I often feel very nervous when I travel afraid of happening  something to me. Usually more in the car or any enclosed space. While traveling I feel a lot and think continuously about it instead of diverting my thoughts. It leads to sleepless nights sometimes. I often feel sensations in the body. I don't understand what is this happening to me. I used to travel before but nothing happened. But now from few time ago I am feeling like this so I avoid traveling and going out because of this fear that something will happen to me.How do I get rid of this problem. I fear sometimes that I will get a heartattack or sometimes the outside traffic noice also threatens me.

I am on desvenlafaxine 25mg...i tried to taper the med..But it is harder.. Is it possible to shift to venlor 37.5mg..So that i can conveniently taper using beed counting method..

I’ve had social anxiety since childhood, but the main issue is a sudden freeze reaction that happens only around people I’m not close to. With safe people I’m completely normal. When the switch happens, my mind goes blank, my body feels stiff, eye contact becomes hard, I lose natural flow and get overly aware of myself. Afterwards I feel drained, my mood drops. I’ve been prescribed sertraline, escitalopram, fluoxetine, venlafaxine/desvenlafaxine, Paroxitne, beta-blockers, clonazepam and mirtazapine for the last 12 years. These didn’t help the freeze pattern. I wanted opinion on whether phenelzine (Nardil), tranylcypromine (Parnate) could be suitable for this pattern - not requesting them directly, just seeking guidance from doctors who have experience with this treatment option considering they are not used main stream for social anxiety.
