Hi all I am writing this in view of an issue I have been facing now since a month.I was diagnosed with high bp  a month ago and started medications for the same.now somewhere in between I stopped the medication for 4 days thinking bp is normal and then the bp shot up along with high heart rate.then the doctor advised me to continue with bp medicine and not stop it along with another tablet for increased pulse now Iam taking both tablets daily but sometimes when I go for walk without taking pulse tablet the pulse rate increases like anything say around 115-120.what could be the reason? My ecg is normal.could it be some thyroid issue? Or am I fearing too much?

Having pain in the left side chest and back for a week, should i consult a heart specialist, pls let me know

Iam a 27-year-old lean male (BMI 18.5) with newly diagnosed hypertension, prominent visible pulses in my neck and shoulder, and persistent burning headaches -despite taking blood pressure medication ( Amlodipine 5mg)  for one month and cholesterol( statin 5mg) medication for one week (LDL 120 mg/dL). My thyroid, kidney function, and renal Doppler tests are normal, and there is no strong family history of early hypertension. These symptoms persist even with treatment, and am concerned about possible rare vascular or secondary causes. could vitamin D( my blood test report says 13 after taking vitamin d3 test) deficiency be linked to these symptoms or my high blood pressure?

Hi, My father is a kidney patient,now from last 3-4 days he is facing little chest pain so we went to doctor yesterday n got ecg and eco done..Reports are attached..is there any point of concern or do we need to go for angiography

Doctor my age 34, please advise me about my BP. During office hours or working my BP is 140/90, 138/96 and when i check my BP in home it is 130/86 and 135/90. I am confused whether BP is high or not. Thanks.

Hi , i was having some uneasiness in my left chest like feeling of palpitations and high heart beating. I did ecg , came out all clean with heart rate 108. I did an echo 2d too , it too came clean. But after 10 days again i am having less palpitations this time. A bit heart rate i can feel is more. Please suggest .

70 yrs, early cirrhosis. Hypertension, prediabetes. Asymptomatic. Took Telmiride H earlier on which BP was controlled, but due to cirrhosis switched to carvedilol 3.125 twice a day. BP now remains systolic 135 and 75-80 diastolic but fluctuates. Takes istamet n thyronorm. Has back and leg pain. Osteoarthritis. *Echo ECG lipids are normal. Took Ecosprin AV preventive since Covid (dr advised), discontinued recently. *Has purple discoloration in ankles without swollen veins and mild pedal edema Had earlier frequent mild coughing and bp remained low and dr suggested NTprobnp in view of coughing.  But now coughing is less to none. PFT normal. No other symptoms or shortnessofbreath. Should NTPROBNP be done now ?
