Ejection Fraction in Echo

Sir Recently i done my Echo Report in which my Ejection Fraction is 57%. Earlier about 1 year 8 months ago my EF was 64% in the Echo done then. Though i know that I am really bothered by the fact that my EF declined from 64% to 57%. Is it the point to be worried about? Or does EF change from lab to lab i.e. if i will get the EF tested again then it will return to 64%. What i have read somewhere is that it should be above 60%.please advise. And one more thing is i follow a very active life style i.e. i go for 45 mins high brisk walk with 4 min jogging. Other then that i do 20 min full body stretch. So in total i am following 1hr 10-15 minutes of workout 5 day a week Is that too much? Will that leave any adverse effects on my heart because i have read that some athletes use to develop LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY when they to strenuous activity. Echocardiogram attached herewith for your ready reference.

Ejection Fraction

Sir , On 26 May i underwent Echocardiogram. Echo Report attached herewith. I have a confusion. In the report the Ejection Fraction is 57%. But when i searched online the formula to calculate EJECTION FRACTION is:- EF=(EDV-ESV)/EDV x 100 When i apply the respective values of EDV n ESV mentioned in the attached echo report in the formula then is get the EF-53%(calculation below) EF= (103-48)/103 = 0.533 x 100 = 53.3% I went to radiologist and raised the same question. He told me that we don't calculate the Ejection Fraction manually and the mentioned figure of EF=57% is automatically calculated by AI of the Colour Droppler Sonography machine. He also told me that the Heart Rate(92 BPM) also plays an important role in calculating the EF through. Sir, Now my question does HR(92) play any role in calculating EF? And does today's Echocardiogram machine ( GE Electric) automatically calculate EF? Does EF varies from Lab to Lab?

Left side chest pain

Hello doctors, For a long time I've had issues with breathlessness and chest pain. I got my echo and ecg done in the month of February which ruled out normal just that ecg showed sinus tachycardia and the doctor said it's normal but I still have a bad chest pain that eradicates from the left side to the arm, shoulder or back and shortness of breath too at times. What can be the reason? Should I repeat my tests? Please help, I'm really worried! Age: 24 Symptoms: Left side chest pain, breathlessness at times Reports normal: Ecg and 2D Echo Deficiencies: D3 and a little of B12 Doctors consulted: GP, Pulmonologist, Cardiologist (once in the month of Apr/May)

Abnormal ecg

I took an ecg one month back and it showed non specific t wave abnormality. I took 2 more yesterday due to chest pain, and both showed sinus rhythm with ST deviation and moderate t wave Abnormality, consider anterior ischemia (-0.1+mv t wave in V3 V4). What is the next step? What does it mean?

Heart Palpitation & Weakness aftr food

Mostly after eating (but not always) or when I get emotional (anxiety and panic) , I feel strong heart palpitations and weakness throughout my body and mostly either of the arms. It dies down after an hour or two. I have done ECG, it looks normal. I also have gastric issues and taking medicine for that and vit D doses. I have border line LDL, low HDL and high Triglycerides. My heart rate reaches 95-100 bpm from 72-75 range. My BP is below 120/80 mostly and non diabetic. It's scary, what could be the reason.
