What is Seton insertion and drainage ? Will it be done under local anesthesia ? Does it require cutting / opening muscles like surgery ?  Again how Seton will be removed ,does it needs again hospitalization ?

I have been suggested Laparoscopic cholecystectomy with gall bladder removal. Is it really needed to remove the organ or can this be treated with only stone removal?

My mother have chronic iron deficiency anemia for which she is taking IV dextran and it is getting corrected and also after a CBC I found that platelets are high mildly upto 5 lakhs but mean platelet count is normal I will attach a image of report as well and I want to know if she has reactionary thrombocytosis and the reason her feet only calf part gets edema only one leg and what is the reason and she doesn't have any edema on foot just calf region and no where else
