Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme better. Is it only valid for treatment in government hospitals, or do private hospitals also accept it?
If private hospitals are included, are there any specific criteria or network hospitals I should be aware of? Any clarification would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!

The problem with these insurance schemes is .. they are relativelt favourable for government hospitals where the case load is more.. but in a private hospital where only few cases are dealt with. They claim amount is very less.. sometimes even 50percent of the total cost.. such a low prize is okay in a government hospital where they would have twice or thrice the number of cases.. but not very feasible in private... hence many private hospitals wont even accept the cases if they want to claim from these govwrnment aided insurance.. becaue they can barely make 50 percent of the total cost of the treatment.. sometimes they ask the patients to payup the rest of the amount but that would be unethical ...
