General Surgery

I have neck/spine problem. I guess I'll be asked to go for MRI. I have right inguinal hernia laparoscopic surgery done 6 months ago. Is that mesh made up of any metal? Is it safe to go for MRI?

From past few years, my daughter would frequently get stomach pain, vomiting and fever. She would be given Emest and Rantac injections (through cannula). It would subside in 2-3 days. But this time..again the same episodes happened but the stomach pain was severe and nausea. After ultrasound scan....doctor told it is due to appendicitis and needs to be removed urgently. 2 days back my daughter underwent laparoscopic surgery. There is swelling around the belly button and have pain. Please suggest if this swelling is expected post laparoscopy procedure.

Is it safe ride cycle or do cycling related gym exercise if person either male or female who has piles ??

My mother who is 84 year old went through toe 4&5 amputation for diabetic foot with gangrenous ulcer. After surgery infection again surfaced for big toe. Last few weeks we started Ayurvedic process with excellent results in wound healing and controlling infection. However process requires cleaning wound on day to day basis which is very painful. Can we administer local anesthesia before debridement and wound dressing. If yes can it be administered at home?

I am 21 and  having gallstone of size 18mm. Is there a way that I can dissolve this stone or remove only this stone not gallbladder.

Dear sir My father is suffering from lower abdomen pain in front both side and in pelvic hips. I have  to go many hospitals but could not found the problem. I have Mri and ct scan report . But all reports are normal . Can any one suggest me how to diagnose the problem . Is any other way to diagnose the problem. ( From last 2 year) Please reply

My mom has simple fusiform cyst in right breast with ipsilated axillary lymphadenitis measuring 3.0 X 2.2 cm. What needs to be done here. Please suggest. Is there anything to worry? I have attached the scan report too.

I have severe sleep apnea and I am using CPAP machine every night.. But I also have multiple gallstones and need surgery under General Anesthesia.. Can I go for the surgery? Will it be safe? What can I do to make it safer?

I have multiple gall stones which didn't cause anypain till now.but from past 4 days i am getting dull pain at right side of abdomen below the chest(sometimes sharp pain) which stays for seconds and comes after 10-15 minutes.sometimes i am getting pain at left abdomen and left shoulder.i am unable to guess whether it is due to gall stones or gas.of this pain is due to gall stones is it necessary to go for surgery or can i wait for some time?

Got more pain in Anus, unable to pass stool if try comes some amount of blood every time for these last three to four days.
