Gallstone Surgery and Copd
I am 66 years old have and COPD and slight post covid changes in my lungs.. It has been one year since I had Covid.. No breathing issue at all.. Just dry cough sometimes.. I use fortecort inhaler 200  twice a day.. Can I go for gallbladder removal surgery next month? Will it be safe?

Your COVID history will not have any influence- but your anesthetist should know about COPD and take appropriate precautions- discuss with him before going for surgery
