Hi, wanted to know if anti-depressants are effective in treating constipation, because other treatments like laxatives, etc. aren't helping that much. I'm physically active too. Please provide your suggestions.

Hello ..I am having this loose stool for nearly a month now,that is not going away with antibiotics.i am having this with excessive gas,urge to poop even after passing stool ,pain in abdomen and sometimes burning sensation .passing stools 3 to 4 times a day .sometimes  am passing some tubule like structure with stool and with some amount of mucus .the structure looks like a narrow tube ,darker in colour.i have given birth to my baby 10 months ago .can someone please tell me what is this ? And what should I do ?

If there are viral load reports, how can I know if it has decreased or increased? There are also old reports. Can you compare them and tell me?

I am 33 year old, mother to a 3.5 year old..a few months after having vaginal delivery in 2021, i having been facing the problem of occasional rectal bleeding..like i had it when my stool felt little hard and i had to strain to pass it..this would happen for 3-4 days and then i took laxatives and then the bleeding would slowly subside..the bleeding would occur in a few months gap and has been inconsistent..i also have gallstones..the last time I had bleeding was 2 months ago and now today morning i noticed some bright red blood while passing stool, but the stool was normal..it was not as hard as earlier and i didn't strain a lot, still i got blood in my bowel..10 mins afterwards, i again went to pass the stool twice but didnt see any blood on wiping.. now at night, after eating dal rice, i have been having bad stomach cramps and passed mildly loose stools twice..i got to know that can also be symptoms of colon cancer and have been panicking since morning. Cud it be due to gallstones?

Can I get Colonoscopy done right after CT enema with some hours gap? CT enema is being done to rule out acquired or congenital mega colon in a 28 year old male having problem of unusual bowel movements since 2021.

I got typhoid back in april along with joint pain and shivering. Got I/V accuzon 1g(10) [1-1]and meromac 1g (10) [1-1] pulse 120bpm, bp 100/60, fever 99.5 consistent After that i am got mild diarrhea and abdominal pain.In between diarrhea got worse with rectal pain, abdominal pain Gastroenterologist prescribed me pantoacid, Vsl #3, Mebiz SR, had this medicine for a month (may - june) situation is still same. I have got High fecal calprotectin 390, ESR 45, CRP 2.3 and got sigmoidoscopy done showing normal loss of mucosal pattern, hyperemia, and moderate pancolitis. Is this all happened due to antibiotics or can this be c diff or h pylori or UC PLEASE HELP ME I AM STRESSED

So i was facing a problem that whenever i had a hard stool a lump appeared in my anus and it started hurting, itching and got uncomfortable . But it disappeared when i had soft stool.. so i was facing this problem for many months.. the lump disappeared when i had soft stool and reappeared again when i had a hard stool.. what should i do now
