My wife has taken USG recently. In the report she has cholelithiasis. Is it necessary to get surgery or medicine can cure it?

I have got my cbc done and found that my platelets were 85k in October and then at this stage it's showing 55k. My WBC is also low but haemoglobin is 12.5. My ESR shows 42. I don't have fever nor any illness as of now. I just feel tired sometimes - I have also have prediabtic medicines going on to decrease my sugar level. My ear surgery is due because of the sudden change in the platelets and elevated sugar level which is 183 on PP. I have also been on antibiotics as this was prescribed by doctor to dry out my ear to get it ready for surgery. After all reports - everything looks ok, except the platelets counts. Is there a way to increase them and I have been prescribed some tests as well but they all got fever symptoms to be evaluated. But I don't have any fever nor any illness.

Sir/Ma'am, On Amlodipine 2.5 and Rosuvastatin 10 (From last 2 weeks). Pressure is normal and suggested by my respected doctor to discontinue Amlodipine as one medicine will take care of both the issues (LDL Borderline high) Total Cholesterol -188.Please guide whether I should discontinue Amlodipine.
