Is it good to read in dark.. as I heard the more the eye lens contracts and expands the good it will be for eyes. Is it so?

Hi my friend had scleral buckling done to cure retinal detachment in her right eye 4 months ago. She had been undergoing normal eye check up where doctors dilute eyes and doctor has comfirmed that retina is attached now. Though doctor said that she can have follow up check.up after month or 2 but due to her paranoia and scare of a retinal.detachment she is gettin eyes checked every 15 days for now. Wanted to know is there any harm or side effect of getting eyes checked by dilution at such short span..can it cause some problem? Please help

Dear doctor it's bit of complicated issue for my uncle.recently he had cataract operation to right eye. Every thing is fine and he god clear vision After 15 days eye started to tear And irritating than he lost vision Than we contacted to same eye doctor he done some medication of 72 hr. but finally they find its fungus. I have attached reports of it . Ans he taken some decision and he replaced the tissues of effected area. Now the question is weather he can get the vision or not and we unable to find how that fungus attracted to eye. Please let us.explain the fungus family and how it is attracted

Hi,i m 38yrs old,since 6mnths my eyesvision going lowness,iwent hos 2mnths befre dctr suggestd soets fr light low vision as.05 in left,i bought tht spests also bt no change tht to increase eye sight,wt can i do?

I have a 4 to 5 degree of squient near and far i have 5 to 6 degree of squient how to overcome squient does it need surgery i feel bad does squient did not provide accurecy in drawings

From 2days, I feel my left eye ball like swollen especially when keep my fingers and compare with right eye ball while eyes closed. It doesnt really hurt while normal viewing however, when I keep my fingers over the eyeball(eyes closed), I feel slight pain. Is that allergy, and some eye drops will work? or should I need to consult an eye doctor? I use specs of power -3.5 and -3.75 (left and right respectively). I need to continuoulsly work for 9hours on laptop. Your advise is really appreciated.

Hello Doctor, My father has been having a vision problem where he can read properly in day light but once it is evening or night, he cannot read properly under artificial light( tube light or bulb).
