I going to swimming with out goggles, my eyes becoming very red ,and I have to desk job at office in computer I am feel very deficit to see, is that some problem ?? Keratoconous.

My cousin had Keratoconus problem since 2008. He already done cornea cross link collagen(c3r) at 2012. Now doctor advised him yo avoid contact lens because of flattened cornea. Is this flattened cornea and Keratoconus made him to lost his vision or not. Please tell me
