My father age 70, diabetic patient, takes daily 30 unit insulin. His blood creatinine report was 1.02 before 6 months. Every time his creatinine stays close to 1. Recently he has done HBA1C test. It was 7. His lipid profile is normal. Last few days we can see swelling at his feet and fingers. I need your suggestion. Thank you.

3weeks back in Practo, asked about 21 years female DMT1 my question was about CPeptide Report 1.67ng/ml, On The Suggestions of Endocrinologists, GAD65 Antibody test done Report is 8.26IU/mL Biological Reference Range are <10: Negative >10: Positive Now What's the Report indicates Is her pancreatin releasing the insulin May be Low? Gad 65 tells?

I had a fasting blood sugar test done and my result came out to be 100 . Should I be worried? I am a 26 yr old female

Hello Doctor Good morning I am diabetic since 6/7 years,normaly my sugar was always under control around 110/140. But now from last 5/6 months it is high fasting around 200 /pp around 275. Now medicines doses also increased by my doctor. Janumet 50/500-twice a day Glimpiride 2mg Gliclazide-60mg (metformin-500mg by other doctor) Still sugar is 200/275 HBA 1c is 8.1 3 months back,now in July 2020 it is 7.9 This ratio is after doing daily 1 hour excercise/walking/yoga. I have two queries.. My one government doctor is saying to take Janumet 50/500 and Glimpiride 2mg in the morning both all together. And at night after dinner only Metformin 500mg. Another one advised me to take Janumet 50/500one morning and one evening. And Gliclazide -60mg in the evening.(not prescribed Metformin at evening) My sugar is not controlled, please advise me how to take dose and how it will be under control. Best Regards

My mother has been a diabetic (type 2) since her thirties. Two days ago, she tested her blood sugar (post meal) which came to be 400. The next morning we tested her fasting blood sugar levels which were 250. Then, today, 3-4 hours after meal another test was done which showed her blood sugar to be 340. Why are her blood sugar levels not going down? And what can be done to optimize it because 400 is too high. She's currently taking  Janumet 50/1000 and Cetapin XR. Please help.

My Anti TPO> 1300 Anti Thyroglobulin antibody-28 within range T3-1.26 T4-8.01 Tsh-5.43 All within ranges Vitamin D was 16(low) I was having muscle twiches and asked to go for the test.. Shall I go for a thyroid scan? One doctor says yes and other says not required as Tsh is normal.

Having chest pain / heaviness since last 4 months, sometimes at the centre left of the chest, sometimes at centre right. Taken gelusil several times but no improvement. Is it due to diabetes?
