Hi, this is for my aunt, 61yrs old. Her TSH level is <0.05, T3-2.8, T3-0.9 when tested in June. After which she was on antidepressant medicine for her palpitations. She repeated the text this month and the TSH value is the same, T3-2.6, T4-1.3. Right now her palpitations are gone but she complaints of weight loss, weaknesses and restlessness. Pls advice how to proceed. Thanks!

Hello...I am taking metformin 500 mg daily. My hb1ac is 5.8 . Fbs is 119 and pp is 169. Usually fbs is under 110 and pp around 140.Should I increase my dosage of metformin. My weight is 88 lbs and bp is 140/90.

There is any difference between plasma blood sugar and capilary blood sugar level.in fasting state???m which is high???.. i am a mbbs students of 2nd yr..my cbg sugar levl 116...no history of diabetes..cbg test is sufficient

My uncle sugar levels are more than 300 when we test post lunch, in early morning before breakfast it is 165 less than 200. Can you please suggest the diet how to control sugar levels. Note : He has high BP as well. He will take 2 eggs and 6 almonds daily in the morning. Walnuts (5) , pista (5) in the evening.

My Father (50Yr) has Vomiting and Diaria. We have Rushed to the hospital and checked his Blood Sugar and  Pressure, 400+ and 150+ Respectively! And he currently taking madicin for past 3 days for sugar and bp control but  for now He vomits whatever he eats!His urine is in yellow, And he Feels tired! What should I do next? What physical examination should be done for him? I am so worried about his physical condition! Help me! Is vomiting, diarrhea and digestive problems due to high blood sugar and high blood pressure? Is there any serious physical problem?

I am today diagnosed with fatty liver stage 1 and prediabetes, i want to know if this condition can be cured? I am shocked today.

My TSH levels over the last six months have been high between 10 and 12.My T3/4 are within normal limits. My GP has advised that I should undergo a thyroid antibodies test(TPO/TG) to further confirm if i need to be put on any medication.Will this have any side effects on my heart considering I have undergone two procedures to treat my AF and currently am on medication as  advised by my cardiologist. Do I need to consult an endocrinologist for a final opinion since I believe that medication is lifelong. I must also mention that I have no major symptoms except that I feel drowsy at times while watching TV.

Recently, my father has undergone Blood sugar test Post prandial 1.5 hours after eating food and his sugar level was 221. 3 years back, he had retina detachment surgery also. Is it serious? Could you prescribe some medicines for high sugar and for how long it should be taken?
