I have a query regarding the medicines used for diabetis ie pioglitazone and voglibose. Initially I was prescribed voglibose along with sulphonylurea, later another doctor prescribed replaced voglibose with pioglitazone along sulphonylurea. I need to know which one is best/efficiency at high or low dose and with less side effects. I heard pioglitazone is banned in india. please suggest my query

Why my sugar is low after having lunch my sugar is 95 and I m facing this problem from last one month after taking one medicine which name is Norfloxtz . After consulting one of the general physician they gave me few medicines of gas and a multi vitamin syrup but these medicines results are not satisfied and facing these problem in 7-8 days interval time.

My mother is diagnosed with diabetes for more than 5 years. Recently her fasting blood sugar level shows 171 mg/dl. She does not take any medicines. She only does yoga and lots of walking. And she regularly take karela amla juice. Please advise whether she should take nay mild medicine or not

Detected diabetes during pragnency in may bcoz of safety I did abortion .I started taking lantus insulin 16  and medicine galvus met 500 mg.from past few days I m facing shivering weakness severe body pain and low blood sugar doctor advised me to stop insulin and take galvus met morning and evening .now pp is under 140 but fasting is around 145- 155.what should I do to control my fbs.hba1c 11.6 in May and all antibodies test negative , cpeptide 0.62 .should I come back to insulin? I am newly married it was my first pragnency to conceive next time is galvus met is safe for me or I should continue insulin

Been on medication glycomet 500 till 2019 and then changed to metsmall 500 Been having it twice a day. Hba1c has been between 6.2 to 6.7. Lately, have been experiencing low blood sugar essentially once wake up in the morning...levels are around 66 to 74. Experiencing dizziness, weakness in hands and feet. I am fine after having a cup of tea, levels go up to 90 to 100. Now Metsmall 500 reduced to once a day after lunch.

Iam checking my blood sugar frequently, My FBS result 90, after 2 hrs of meals 125, At 5PM after tea 107, At 7 PM my RBS is 90. These fluctuations are common in normal people? How often to check blood sugars in normal people. Pls suggest. Regards.
